Note: I hope this belongs in the right category. Didn't know whether I should put it here, Forum Games, or in the DanceDanceRevolution category.
Imagine this scenario; Konami commissions you to create the song listing for a new compilation Dance Dance Revolution game, like an updated version of "DDR BEST HITS". The catch is that you can only use full song listings from 2, or 3, different titles. What games in the entire DDR library (any region, console, or version) would YOU use. And why would you use those songs? Whether you want to base it on bias, rarity, creativity, etc.; it's is all up to you.
Personally, I'd love to use the song listings for ULTRAMIX (+DLC), EXTREME 2, and DDRMAX2 [NA PS2]. These were the first games I've played, and they really sparked an interest in the series for me. The song listings were great, the atmosphere was nice, and they still hold high to me as some of the best games in the entire catalog. Having those songs together all in one game would make for an amazing title, in my opinion.

I would choose DDRMAX (NA CS), EXTREME2, and ULTRAMIX2.

Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMIX CLUB Version 2 (AC) (Japan), Dance Dance Revolution Solo BASSMIX (AC) (Japan), & Dancing Stage Featuring Disney's Rave. Great opportunity to bring back these hits.

I would gladly play this, especially for the CLUB VERSION and Solo BASS MIX songs.

DDR II + DDR SuperNOVA + DDR Max, assuming we're talking NA versions, imo

Any console/region/version of DDR counts.
