They're finally a SDVX sim out there called EffectDrive.
It simulates the game rather well, however. The demo song is extremely hard for those who want to try the game out.

Sounds interesting so I decide to go check it out. 
It crashes as soon as I choose a song. Or whatever other modes I choose.
Do I have to do something like change to Japanese keyboard or something?

At the time this thread was posted, I'm not sure if K-Shoot Mania was out. However, I'd suggest everyone to use K-Shoot Mania instead.
