I know this forum is mainly focused in DDR & BEMANI games, but I'd like to work on PIU Simfiles as well, and this site has a good simfile manager especially when doing a simfile collaborations, where everyone can help.
So, since I haven't seen a good PIU Simfiles pack, I'd like to make one, which keeps updated as the series gets updated
For example, when I downloaded a PIU 1st Dancefloor simfile pack, Funky Tonight doesn't have the newer charts like the S12 chart. The naming, sound quality, and steps are often bad (badly named, bad sound quality, and a bit offsync)
So, anyone up for this?
Oh, and I hope this goes into the correct section, I was confused whether I should post this in simfile requests or discussion...

"Yeah, nah." |
I have a few officials from Exceed~Zero, Fiesta&FiestaEX~Fiesta2, and SE~Extra if that would be any help.
I've synced them with the default sm5 theme assist tick and most of them have BGAs and clear audio.

Does every song has a complete stepcharts as in Fiesta 2?
I do have all the simfiles from 1st to Fiesta EX, but most of the songs are missing some difficulties.
Like I said above, Funky Tonight S12 is missing, Destination S19 (which added in Fiesta EX 1.50) is also missing, etc.
I'm planning to make a category if possible, then we work together to complete the missing stepcharts, improve the audio & BGA quality with the best quality, and make a pack.

If you sync simfiles, it's not advisable to adjust them via StepMania because each song offset always depends from your own GOS. You can get more accurate syncing method via Sony Vegas (for getting the song offset) and Sony Acid Pro's beatmapper for getting unknown bpms, like I do. I've downloaded official PIU simfiles and I found out that almost all of them are delayed by 0.04 seconds, the effect of song offset based from maker's GOS.
I can review and check all sync and adjust charts (bpm changes, stops, warps etc.) if possible.

Sorry, what's a GOS? Oh well, yeah, I couldn't get perfect sync with AutoSync or something.
Okay, if you'd like to help with the sync, good.
Now we need someone who's good at stepmaking, especially with gimmicks (I can do some easy stepcharts, but not gimmicky stepcharts :/)

"Give me a steady beat." |
That's such a hilariously over-complicated acronym. Just say Global Offset.
Here's a good place to start for official simfiles: http://www.pumpproplus.com/v3/simfile-categories.aspx
The database is so obviously based off of the data from the PROs, but it is being expanded out from there. And quality level of their curation is pretty good.
