When DDR will generate CS version?

Konami has taken focus off all CS version's and will focus on the AC markets right now. Maybe one day, but right now no.

DDR Dance Wars is all we've got right now.

It's a shame too because DDR/HP5 outside of the eh US licenses, was the best mix they had in a long while.

I think the other problem is that the WiiU dumped the controller inputs and there is no way any gamer wants to use a wireless pad [if that is even possible with the WiiU]. So that forces the situation to have Konami pursue the PS4 if anything for a DDRCS.

people now are choosing Just Dance or Dance Central whatever those things are called. DanceEvolution is a hard pick because of all the KOs which the general public doesn't really know about.

2010 actually had the right idea when it add movement based additions. Still didn't sell well, so they just gave the fans X2 for HP5.

At least with Dance Evolution they made lemonade. Put a 360 and a Kinect in a wooden cabinet and, voila! A new arcade series. Just a shame it's Japanese only.

Konami hasn't completely abandoned the console market. Their iOS offerings are thriving, probably because it's a purely digital distribution model. If they could just do something like that for Xbox Arcade/PlayStation Network/Wii U... Store-whatever it's called.

A bit off-topic, but DanceEvolution already found their way to Singapore and Malaysia.

The most gamer play Just Dance,SINGSTAR etc. but the DDR CS isn't give of important?

I think DDR CS is hard play or bored,the gamer play DDR AC.

I know several people who bought Just Dance etc thinking they were the next generation of music games, but soon got bored of them as the song lists are very generic and there is no real skill involved. All you're doing is flapping your arms around to music. They're essentially just aerobics videos with a little bit of interaction thrown in. :/

I think a new DDR game would sell, especially on the Wii U. Instead of it being a straight DDR title they could make it so that every song could be played either with a (wireless?) dance mat, the touchscreen control pad (a la Ouendan) or with the player's body. Throw in karaoke and a load of fitness options and Bob's your uncle. They could bill it as the ultimate music game.

The only way to know for sure is if Konami says anything at E3, and it's more than likely that DDR will not have a CS release this year.
