Might not have to wait that long. I was thinking like a couple months or a little longer. I have one now for an upgrade cab. I think I can get an X3 marquee after the machines here upgrade to the new DDR. In short, if I get an X3 marquee, I might not mind parting with my X2 one. Might have to wait weeks or months though until I know for sure.
I really don't know a reasonable asking price nor do I know the costs of shipping from taiwan now. I am reasonable though, so let me know how much you'd like to pay.

I've seen them (the other mixes) as low as $10 and as high as $50. I can give you $30 for it.

You need a large, very large humongous scanner for it.

Well in America you could bring it to a FedEX kinkos or somewhere similar that does printing. I might be interested in one as well (X3) once kits get sent out.

I have a friend for me who will check out where I can get that marquee copied. I should have some answers in a couple days if its possible.
Just making sure, I need to make a high res scan of the marquee and make it an image file, correct? Have any specific dimensions/sizes?
Also carlitos, would you be ok with this option, or you really want the original?

I'm ok with it. Also, I'm not in a hurry. You can take all the time you need for it. Don't worry.

No idea honestly. I think Anthony got one of his marquess scanned before so I'll ask him for you.Just making sure, I need to make a high res scan of the marquee and make it an image file, correct? Have any specific dimensions/sizes?

Edit: guess hes not sure. When you bring it in to get scanned just ask for it in the highest quality really. From there people can get it printed to the size they need.

There is no Fedex Kinkos in taiwan.

I was using that as a example. Its just a chain with scanners and printers. I am sure there is a place or chain similar to it in Taiwan. You could also technically take the marquee with you back to America and get it scanned when you come visit. That's probably going to still be a while, and idk if you are going to FR, but hey its another option.

no need, was hoping to give you a nice surprise in the coming days, possibly a week.
Since your bumping it won't be a surprise.
So here's what's up. I've waited to do anything until recently because I just got my hands on the X3 Marquee. I waited cause I wanted to try scanning the new one first to see if it works. Call me lazy but I didnt feel like taking down the whole X2 marquee for a chance it might work when I knew I was getting another one. So... this week I'll be taking that X3 poster to be scanned in high res, then let you and other people try to see if it works and can be reproduced, if all lights are green I'll swap out my X2 poster and repeat the process.
Should have another update with a week I think.
