Only Zukins whose origins I remember being concrete were Maid-Zukin's (android) and Devil-Zukin's (embodiment of some evil spirit or dark side from Oshare-Zukin).

As for the rest, your guess is as good as mine.

I used to think the Zukins were all at least part-androids until Queenie came and kinda wrecked that theory... Their "homes" are (mostly) listed on the 3rd/4th/5th/SN/SN2/X/X2 sites, but I am too lazy to get butchered translations right now and see which ones actually exist... besides their origins, what a Zukin is is a secret. Yaaaayy guessing~

Half of the Wikias are bologna, besides the Japanese one, where someone translated some back on Bemanistyle and it's now gone... The that looks like X2 is all right, minus all the fan speculation...

I agree, but what pisses me off is that there is no information on them (well technically there is, but nothing extensive) or any other character, for that matter, on Wikipedia. The info I obtain from that wikia only list what characters that exsisted in the games, but there has only been 6, I believe, entries so obviously that wiki was pointless. It's a damn shame that no one wants to take the time to translate all the character bios, it would be interesting to have a complete database on them.

For Devil-Zukin, she is the evil sister of Oshare-Zukin, separated from her sister at birth for being evil and was locked up in a dungeon until she got out.

I remember reading something similar for Devil-Zukin, but it said something about her being Oshare-Zukin's dark side rather than her sister, so the one I read was probably a mistranslation of Tomoe's information source.

I am almost positive the first line says "a [demon?] born from Oshare Zukin's dark side." Can't understand the line about blood or hardware spec,s though... still, doesn't that make it impossible for them to be sisters?

Neither this not the 4th mix bio mentions a dungeon.

The only other thing I can think of is if she was in some console game that had extra info...

When I first got DDR Extreme 2, Princess Zukin scared me with that smile. But overall, she's a really cool character.

AFAIK, I guess you could call them puppets since they along with the Konsentos are called as such in DDR 3rd Mix. I don't really consider them creepy besides Devil-Zukin's bio.
