All I remember about that song is that the last line goes "I want your dick inside of me".

Why "injection of love" never came with vocal in USA Version?

P.S. I wanted to know the lyrics because I got bored and decided to ask a friend to play Tekken Tag 2 and use the bikini bundle. I thought of using Injection of Love as a background music.

They would have probably lost the E rating in America as a result.

Hmm. As far as I know, the game was already E10+. Not only that, but we DID have Seduction. And Play That Funky Music (which merely makes a reference to a one-night stand but the lyric is a lot more clear).

Regardless, I don't think Injection of Love's lyrics are obscene enough to push the E10+ envelope.

Don't forget Sexy Planet (From Nonstop Megamix) which is FAR worse than Seduction. She basically orgasms at the end of the song and not to mention the step-jump pattern when she moans are basically "thrusts".

Maybe..., just as soon as the E 10+ rating was introduced, almost all DDR games released from then on landed there. So the ESRB considered those games a stretch for E. Maybe they weren't in real danger of losing E 10+, but they probably didn't want to run the risk (these are the people that took the lyrics out of AFTER THE GAME OF LOVE and the "moaning" out of THE EARTH LIGHT, among other things).

...that said, a lot of stuff somehow got through that maaaybe shouldn't have (HIGHS OFF U).

Incidentally, the original Guitar Hero was rated T for "lyrics". I'm trying to think of what in that game could have been worse than even the English version of INJECTION OF LOVE.

Regardless, I'm not gonna lie, most Americans probably wouldn't know the original versions of the songs existed. I never knew there was another version of Injection of Love until I found a simfile for it. I'd imagine it'd be similar for The Earth Light.

Konami probably suspects that it's not a big enough deal to worry about, and it's a very small sacrifice that can have a very positive impact (or avoid a punishment in the name of a T-rating). And to be honest, I kind of agree. It's not a pressing issue.
