Hi to all.
If anyone of you have "enjoyed the pleasure" of playing in an European DDR X, you surely notice about strange lag.
Here's the stuff
This guy, 3 years ago, made a mod called "Cardboard mod", a mod that seems very popular judging the people comments.
However, I didn't found any info on the internet about this mod; and also the author doesn't answer me (his last video is 2 years ago...)
So, any tips about this "Cardboard mod"? I don't have any idea what it is.
Thanks!

"I play too much touhou" |
Basically it's like foam modding the pads only with, obviously, cardboard.

Essentially it's trial and error, so you'll have to try it a few times before it works correctly.
Too much it wont register, too little and there won't be a difference.

Thanks for the answers, but I still don't understand what I have to do =(
I open the arrow, and then I see a sheet of plastic covering the sensors. Where I have to put the cardboard?
Thanks a lot!

Take pictures of your current pads, I can help you mod them to be perfect. But I need to know what fix your pads has already.

Ok, as soon I go to the Arcade, I will take pictures =)
Actually, we doesn't have any mods, well, in some arrows we have some foam above the sensor, but only few sensors, the main "mod" that we have is some sensors disconnected, because they are broken and when you step the arrows keeps pressed, so we have some arrows with 3 sensors instead of 4, and some with 2, etc...
Thanks!

I imagined that would be the case. Please upload them, and I'll help you make them better. One of the methods I would suggest is replacing the sensors out with tapeswitches, as these are more reliable.
