"Fairy-nough"
Good to see you're continuing this. First pack was pretty good, but you have plenty of design space left to explore, so explore it!

And I still love Insomnia, regardless of whether you think I'm serious about that or not.

(Also, Heaven Round 2 should probably be highlighted red too.)

If you'd like a review on a contest chart, PM me! (Reviews will probably be given on or around the Friday after the PM fyi.)

Heaven Round 2 is NOT in red, because it needs more than one chart to be a 10 or higher. However, it IS borderline, since Easy's a 5 (the norm for Boss Songs), and Hard's a high end 9 (in other words, it's close to a 10). I'll probably just mark it in orange as a pseudo boss song.

UPDATE 12-24-2012 3:28 AM EST: Here are the newest simfiles being released into ITG TNB 2, as of 12-24-12.

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20820 Fascination (Night Sky Mix) - Kit@ K3ru
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20810 Moonlight Shadow (New Vocal Version) - Missing Heart
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20713 Stereo Sonic - Darwin & Obie

----------

UPDATE 12-24-2012 12:34 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20821 1,018 steps, 140 jumps, 140 holds, 2 handplants, 122 seconds of arrow-smashing madness; can YOU survive the Queen Bee?

----------

UPDATE 12-24-2012 2:46 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20822 A simfile I have been waiting to find time to complete, for a song I truly wanted to create a simfile for. I also have an idea for the banner/background for it. However, I'm going to need someone who's really good at making backgrounds/banners to help me out here. Not just some plain, flat colored background, with simple/fancy text; an actual atmospheric/adventurous background (I have also designed my own character to represent me & the ITG TNB series, and part of the background/banner idea for this simfile involves him being in it; I felt inspired by Renard to do so - kudos to him). For anyone who is interested, please send me a PM to inquire.

----------

UPDATE 1-2-13 1:20 AM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20858 Here's yet another new simfile I completed. This time, I actually made a banner & a background for it. I was experimenting with an application called "Pixel Storm" on my iPad 2, and took some screenshots of some of the "pixel light shows" I made using the features on the application. Then, I imported some of the images, via iPhoto, onto my desktop computer, and chose one of them to use for this simfile.

----------

UPDATE 1-10-13 12:40 AM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=19622 I finished & updated the ITG TNB2 simfile for I Fail by Regi & Scala. This time, there's a background/banner that I made in a similar manner as the background/banner for Destination Relapse from ITG Rebirth 2.

----------

UPDATE 1-13-13 3:04 AM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20142 Finally, the ITG TNB series gets a taste of Digital Explosion.

----------

UPDATE 1-13-13 4:38 AM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=17692 The Singles Expert 9 chart for this simfile appears to be very interesting, since it's overall 16th note count, compared to it's overall step count is very small, which is rare in 9s at this speed. In other words, there are 7s & 8s out there (at around the 130-145 BPM range) with more 16th notes than this simfile's Singles Expert 9 chart; there aren't nearly enough 16th notes, handplants, or crossovers combined to make this a 9. The one thing that made this into a 9, was it's 65 jumps. Remove those jumps, and it's automatically an 8 (even though it would still have 555 steps, which is still too much for an 8 by ITG standards; Infection Singles Hard 8 from ITG1 has the greatest step count (not counting jumps) of any 8 in the entire ITG series: 508).

----------

UPDATE 1-14-13 7:19 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20939 This ITG TNB series needs more Disconnected remixes.

----------

UPDATE 1-14-13 8:30 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20941 The long-lived Trip Machine series finally makes it's debut onto the ITG TNB series, with EBB's Resuscitation Remix. It's definitely tougher than what I have been releasing into ITG TNB 2 over the past two weeks.

----------

UPDATE 1-14-13 10:41 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20714 For the Singles Expert 9 chart for this new one, don't let the step count fool you. There are 129 jumps & 16 handplants thrown into a seemingly harmless & easy 400 step Expert chart (if one looks at only the step count before looking at anything else). I personally feel that this is probably a very odd Singles Expert 9 chart; one that barely has any 16th notes to begin with, despite having a speed of 130 BPM, and relies on jumps for almost all of it's difficulty. In other words, it's odd that this chart has a lot more jumps, than 16th notes, despite it's speed.

----------

UPDATE 1-18-13 5:40 AM EST:

It has finally been unleashed: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=20958

The ultimate...

The impossible...

The unsteppable...

The unbeatable...

The X-BOSS SONG of ITG TNB 2. The New Beginning has unsheathed the final end.

----------

UPDATE 1-24-13 12:20 AM EST:

OK, back to reality here. Taking a break from boss song simfiles, and creating easier simfiles (those are quicker to start and finish).

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21109 Heaven - DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring DO
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21111 Castles In The Sky - Ian Van Dahl featuring Marsha

----------

UPDATE 1-24-13 12:34 AM EST:

If there's one thing ITG TNB2 needs more of at this point, it's more 4-difficulty simfiles. I didn't originally intend to create one, but ended up doing so, due to certain circumstances regarding the possibility of overstepping.

So, there you go, ITG TNB2's second 4-difficulty simfile. http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21112

----------

UPDATE 1-24-13 1:17 AM EST:

Two isn't enough; more 4-difficulty simfiles for ITG TNB2! http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=19411

UPDATE 2-12-13 7:37 PM EST:

For some strange reason, it refuses to generate a .zip. Is there something wrong with the site's .zip generator, or something?

Same here, especially the original, though I couldn't really think of good stepcharts for the original, so I picked a remix instead.
What did you think of the charts, BTW?

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=17684 I hope you like jumping...a lot. Because, this simfile will keep you in the "air" for a long time.

UPDATE 3-13-13 8:44 PM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21369 The royal king has arrived.

And, he challenges you to a duel.

Pandemonium^2 - Zag-X

Novice: 1

Easy: 8 Primarily just quarter note streams.

Medium: 10 A fair amount of 8th note streams, triplets, and gallops.

Hard: 12 A lot more 8th notes, and longer streams.

Expert: 15 The one...the only...the unstoppable...the king of ITG TNB2. With this chart, you're pretty much faced with 8th note patterns & gimmicks reminiscent of the original Pandemonium & Vertex^2 (which this song is pretty much a combination of), along with a lot of newer stuff thrown in as well. Minefields every now and then, jumps thrown into 8th note streams, jacks & footswitches here and there, and numerous death runs to top it all off.

Can YOU...

...defeat...

...the king?

----------

UPDATE 3-16-13 2:40 PM EST: Two old simfiles from the past make it into ITG TNB 2.

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21373 Paranoia Evil -.52 Decline- 1/5/8/10/12
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21379 Green Destiny 1/4/5/9/12

----------

UPDATE 3-28-13 1:20 AM EST: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21434

The well-known theme from Pump It Pro, and a selectable track on ReRave has found it's way into ITG TNB 2. I decided that it was time to make a simfile that would be very easy overall, with "lower-than-usual" ratings assigned to their respective difficulties.

Novice: 1

Easy: 2

Medium: 4

Hard: 6

Expert: 8 Wanna know why this is an 8, rather than a 9? It's pretty simple. What was the name of one of the test locations of ITG2? "8" On The Break. Also, a full combo on this chart would equal 321. 3-2-1 (Ignition -> "Start your engines" -> "3, 2, 1, GO!")

----------

UPDATE 4-3-13 12:52 AM EST: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21489

One of the FINAL simfiles for ITG TNB 2 (emphasis on "final") And, there's a reason behind it.

Novice: 1

Easy: 4 Quite a bit of jumping to do in this chart.

Medium: 7 Mainly just 8th note streams, and some occasional 16th note triplets towards the end.

Hard: 9 Seems easy at first, for a 9 at least. It starts out with a bit of 16th notes in the beginning, then it just becomes 8th notes. About halfway through the song, 16th note gallops, and 16th notes in groups of 5 start appearing. There's also a section of 16th triplets. Be careful, the syncopation sections towards the end can be pretty tough, as some of them are crossovers.

Expert: 14 This chart will be the ultimate test in ITG TNB 2 for all DDR/ITG pad & keyboard players. This chart will test it's players in the elements of long 16th note runs, crossovers, footswitches, jacks, and an even more difficult element - corner bracket jumps (jumps that MUST be done with one foot, and should NOT be done with both feet at once). Combining all of these elements into one chart makes this chart a force to be reckoned with, possibly making even some of the boss songs' Expert charts look tame. My advice? Practice, practice, and practice. Try doing this chart on lower speed rates, until you understand how to tackle each element within the chart.

Edit: 12 This is basically the Expert chart, minus all of it's 127 jumps, all of it's footswitches, and all of it's jacks, making it effectively easier. At least you can now see just how difficult this chart SHOULD be, physically. With the footswitches, jumps, and jacks, it shouldn't be much tougher, physically. The TRUE difficulty comes from reading the chart. If one was able to memorize both charts, he/she would be able to realize that they are virtually almost the same chart. Doing the jump with one foot, and doing a single arrow with one foot only means positioning your foot slightly differently.

In short, it all comes down to whether or not you'll be able to read the chart, and cross-reference between both charts to understand what to do. I would also advise practicing various charts in Pump It Up games, to get a feel for doing corner arrows. Doing a corner bracket jump with one foot should be no different than stepping a single corner note with one foot in Pump It Up.

----------

UPDATE 4-7-2013 2:48 AM EST:

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21508 Speak In Sympathy - Solarstone 1/3/7/8/9
ITG TNB 2 gets a taste of pure trance as it nears it's completion. With various stepchart elements inspired by Bend Your Mind (ITG 1), Liquid Moon (ITG 2), Palindrome (ITG Rebirth 1), and Idol (Tachyon Alpha), it is conveyed how to make a 9-block chart within the 120-150 BPM range, with barely any 16th notes at all.

Remember K-Bit's Frozen Fire from ITG3? Here's KaW's version of Frozen Fire. Don't worry; there's no 24ths, or 32nds this time. Smile

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21617 ITG TNB 2 needs more trance, and this here is trance. I also decided to experiment with creating a 5-difficulty simfile, specializing in holds.

Novice: 1 This 1 could've had more holds...

Easy: 3 Quite an unusual amount of holds (as far as I'm concerned)...for a 3...

Medium: 5 Not a single 8th note to be found -- just a bunch of holds.

Hard: 6 More holds than before; some of them are crossovers -- be careful not to step holds using the wrong foot, or you'll find yourself performing some extraneous double-stepping. There are very few 8th notes within this chart (which is rare for a chart of this speed, BPM, and difficulty level), and a few rolls at the end.

Expert: 8 Not as many holds as before, but a lot more 8th notes have showed up. A bit of a warning here -- from Measure 58 onwards in this chart, whatever 8th note "same-arrow-double-taps" you find from said measure onwards are SUPPOSED to be footswitches, some of which are crossovers. As a bit of trivia, I arranged some of the footswitch formations in a CLOCKwise or counterCLOCKwise manner (Get it; Clocks?). This one is going to take a bit of practice to fully understand. However, this chart is a perfect way to practice footswitches for the much tougher charts out there that would exploit footswitches in much more difficult ways than how I exploited them here. Despite the amount of holds & footswitches, I'm rating this an 8, NOT a 9 -- anyone can doublestep this without too much trouble, if actually performing this footswitches correctly would happen to be too impractical for them, though I strongly encourage that whoever plays this chart should try their best to learn how to perform footswitches. Since there are so many footswitches & holds to worry about over here, I refrained from placing a single 16th note anywhere in this entire chart.

http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=21666 OTAKUSPEEDVIBE - DJ Sharpnel 1/5/7/9/13 I guess you can say that I was inspired by ITG Rebirth's ReaF to create a simfile that was somehow similar to it, without being a boss song simfile like ReaF was.
