I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I've tried searching for it a hundred different ways and could never find it.
So on the X2 machine near me if you select a song you can change the speed mod up until shortly after the arrows start coming. I was wondering if there's a way to turn this option off. It only does it on the right side. I would just play on the left pad but it's missing bolts and the center panel clanks around with each step and that drives me nuts, not to mention they have the volume turned down really low.
Thanks for the help!

Oh is this the problem when for whatever reason the machine thinks the pad LEFT-RIGHT arrows are crosswired with the LEFT-RIGHT selection buttons so for the first few measures of most songs the arrows scroll at crazy fluctuating speeds?

Yeah, exactly. I don't know why it does it, it didn't do it before but ever since it just happened haven't been able to think of a way to fix it.

Unfortunately the only way to fix it would be to actually move around the wires inside the pads or machine. It occurs because when you step on the left and right pad arrows, the machine somehow thinks you are also pressing the left and right cabinet buttons.

I see. Well, that sucks since I know nobody at the theater really knows much about the game or machine. Too bad since I like the song selection on X2 too. Thanks though. At least I know it's a hardware thing instead of an option in the game now.
