If you saw my Facebook post last night, the long lost package of 10 copies of my book originally ended up in Cairo and I thought that was the end of it. Well, it got to me last night in hilarious packaging and now I have 10 more copies to sell/offer.

So, what I was thinking was to have a contest here as well as my own site (or some kind of joint effort) where I can offer a free copy of the book with shipping to the winner(s). I could sign it or such if the winner(s) does/do so wish.
Okay, my idea is to have a design contest where entrants make up a flier, brochure, poster, or other advertisement for a new DDR mix. I was thinking both serious and Konmai-quality submissions would both be great. I would pick a winner and since I have no favorites to pick, I can judge on some combination of technical/artistic/design ability as well as humor.
I thought of this because I wanted something everyone could get in on, not just the graphical design wizards.
What do you think?

Seems like a great idea. Also, there is a bunch of great designers on ZiV, i'm sure they can come up with impressing stuff :p

Okay, I'm going to try and write up some contest specifics/details today during my break at work and try to post here, on AIJ and on Facebook when it is done.
I'll leave the contest open for a few weeks after that to give people time.
I'll try to be fair in that I will value intent and inspiration as much as Technical ability (though having something pretty will give a nice impression)
Once it is over I'll collect the address of the winner(s) and mail off the book (signed and/or message if the want exists)
