Official Simfile Error Thread

HERO's movie file is broken.
As you can see in the image, the file size is also strange compared to others.

The 2ndMIX's HERO from X3 is just a still image converted into movie. Afaik in 2ndMIX mode, HERO used X2 audio cut and movie, therefore, the first HERO movie is an unused data.

I will point out that one unaddressed issue is that the correct song (the X-Edit from X JP CS added to X2 without a subtitle) also lacks its 2nd Mix Mode video on the site.

oh and there's also a down arrow missing from the race's s-basic chart, at m4b4

analysing the hottest party games and pointing out the current mistakes as i progress

- the very first left arrow in gonna make you sweat S-Exp should be a down arrow
- the 12ths in finally S-Exp should be 16ths
- all of double tornard S-Dif is positioned a 4th early
- bibbidi bobbidi boo's stop is positioned an 8th beat early; all subsequent arrows and bpm changes should be moved an 8th beat

VANITY ANGEL from Extreme has the artist as "FIX X" in the .sm instead of "FIXX".

Was it always "FIX X" since X2? I don't remember honestly.

Also, Tokyo shinwa is missing a #DISPLAYBPM:98:196; tag, causing its BPM to appear as 98-197 in SM.

A quick youtube check is only bringing up Dr.D's video for anything after Extreme that isn't played in StepMania, but it's showing "FIXX" at the bottom in Ace.

Apologies if this was bought up somewhere and I missed it but why does Love is the Power from 2nd Mix Ps1 have a full set of charts ? It only has Basic on the game, it says "Adopted from X3" but unless i'm missing something and there were charts for it for some reason on the game despite it not being playable, these look like they were just transcribed from the remix and moved around ?

Anybody else having trouble with Snow Garland Fairy's (A3) OGG file? It doesn't load up on either ArrowVortex, ITGmania, or even on Audacity

It loads fine for me in Audacity and ArrowVortex.

Several charts in the Mario Mix official files appear to have their difficulties labeled wrong. Blooper Bop, Destruction Dance, Hammer Dance, and Starring Wario all seem to have swapped Beginner and Basic charts (Basic has lower notecount, and they only match Remywiki data when swapped). Other charts may also have problems, but I haven't investigated in more depth yet.

Does this include packs/zip structure too? When downloading the pack zip for Mario Mix (Gamecube) ( https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfilecategory.php?categoryid=301 ) "In the Whirlpool" has an "In The Whirlpool.sm" and "In the Whirlpool.sm" file. Note the difference in "The" vs "the".

The files differ a bit, I'm unsure which one is correct. I'm going to assume it's the lowercase t version, as its modified date is the same date as all the rest of the files (2016-10-17), where the capital T version is dated 2015.

It is not present when you go to the individual simfile's page and download its zip ( https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=6131 ) directly.

There is a minor error in the simfile data of "Teenage Kicks" from Dancing Stage Fever (PS2) (Europe) that causes the Groove Radar generator script linked in https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/thread?threadid=11050 to fail.
