Summer fantasy (Darwin remix) DOUBLE CHALLENGE has the same problem as south and Horatio did. Some of the shock arrows are just rows of 4 arrows.

That's not an error. It actually does that in the game.

It's alright. I didn't notice something was wrong at first either. My brain's too accustomed to look at the left side of the screen in DDR.Post #246 · Posté à 2021-01-16 11:03:15pm il y a 3.3 années

Reconverted and fixed using updated tool (Thanks to sanxion7). My tool used had issues in doubles' shock arrows way back then..
Please inform if you find more.

The text encoding of the MATSURI JAPAN/J-SUMMER MIX simfiles is broken.

I just updated it but the browser still displays it differently. Although they are fine in game.

Another thing I wanted to ask - why files have mixed difficulties with X and old scale? It makes no sense. And if the packs are really made to be arcade accurate, shouldn't they be accurate to mixes in which they are? It looks silly and confusing.
I kind of have the same question - why are difficulty ratings in the Hottest Party Wii packs mixed? Where do the X-style ratings even come from?

Anything from the Hottest Party series that's appeared on an Arcade release, will most likely have an x-scale rating because 90% or so of the arcade release simfiles are all arcade ripped data. So they'll be in the X/X2 packs, but probably also copied/pasted back into the Hottest Party packs replacing files with better audio, better sync/offsets etc.

I'm talking about console-exclusive songs. For example, compare https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfilecategory.php?categoryid=133 to https://remywiki.com/CS_DDR_HOTTEST_PARTY#Song_List

Well, some CS-exclusive songs did get X ratings in DDR S. (ex.: Mess with My Emotions, Unity)

BREAK DOWN! (World Version) has the notes in the middle of the song on all difficulties an 8th note later than they should be which ended up making blue note syndrome that shouldn't be there. For it's from m35 to the stop, is from m34.75 to the stop, is from m31.75 to the stop, and is from m26.625 to m41.25
Also, Confession on HOTTEST PARTY had a different amount of notes on and compared to the arcade version of the charts

DDR Ultramix 2, Wherever You Are
The stepcharts are karaoke steps, following the lyrics.
The step charts should start on measure six, beat four.
At the time of this writing, the charts start on measure six, beat one.
Edit:
https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=39565
DDR Ultramix 3 Songpacks, Light Motion
Yeeesh something went terribly wrong with the doubles chart. In comparing it to the previous version of the file I have, it's either an error from DDRUK that was never caught or the Konami Hawaii team never reviewed the chart before putting the song for sale on the Xbox store. The doubles heavy chart goes haywire starting at measure 28.

Oh, this is where I put simfile errors. Okay.
Anyway, U Can't Touch This from DDR X has an issue with how the simfile header is formatted. Some of the parameters include lowercase characters when they should be uppercase; StepMania 5.x interprets this regardless (which is why I assume this was never caught), but ArrowVortex chokes and ignores the BPM and Stops.
The simfile header currently looks like this:

Hopefully this isn't just my imagination, but I'm playing through Ultramix 2, and Brick House seems to be quite off sync. Haven't actually done simfile work enough lately to be more specific than that.

Reg. 2021-04-06 | |
I have been editing a lot of DDR simfiles (mostly the backgrounds and song endings) but there were a couple of big errors:
I don’t know if it’s me but when I download the 4th Mix Plus pack, Sexy Planet is not downloaded with the other songs. Same thing sometimes goes with the brand new songs on A20 PLUS beta starting with Bitter Chocolate Striker.
Siege Engine’s (Universe 3) stepchart starts ONE MEASURE EARLY
Audiophilosophy (Ultramix 4) Stepchart starts one beat early or late.
Every single BG video that was on DDR EXTREME 2 or DDR STR!KE are off sync to varying degrees by either a 1/2 beat or a measure.
Reach The Sky Without You and Hello, planet. will delete your bg save data after restarting the game so I have to go back and do it again.
Hello, planet. and Help Me Erinnnnnnn!! Does not have the BG videos set to play.
HARD BRAIN does not have its BG video.
This one’s a nitpick but how come there are no BG videos for X2 and X3 songs that do have them? The only one I see available is Smooooch.
That’s all I have for now.

I don’t know if anyone caught this error or if it got fixed but downloading the ZIP of Okome no oishii takikata, soshite okome wo taberu koto ni yoru sono kouka (https://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=23616) by itself brings up a ZIP file with a file containing nothing. The only way to get the simfile with all of the contents is to download the entire DDR 2013 pack and grabbing the simfile from there.
