Clutch jump shot by Kobe Bryant with 2 seconds remaining in the clock to end the 4th quarter, taking the Lakers to overtime. Too bad they lost in OT

"Protecting The Emeralds And Gems" |
This should be interesting and fun ^__^
Okay, first off:
1. M2M (Manning to Miami) probably will happen
2. Congrats to Harvard to winning the Ivy league for the first time since the 1940's
3. Kansas wins the national title this season (I am NOT losing to a mid-major this year)
4. Western Kentucky makes the NCAA tournament with a losing record
5. We need more hockey on TV

Also, Tim Tebow seemed not so excited after the Jets acquired him.

Is it bad that I really really really don't want Lebron to ever win a championship... Ever?

Sup Ali lol
I just didn't like the whole him ditching his hometown, and then proclaiming that Miami would win multiple championships. It's one thing to be confident, it's another to be pompous and arrogant lol

Well yeah I kind of agree in a few points. The man took his decision, I don't blame him, you're not supposed to be a slave for a team your entire career. Probably the only thing that annoyed a lot of haters was that ESPN special show, which I didn't see. Miami winning multiple championships... I don't know he was just having some fun lol, I don't think they will win up to 7 though, probably 3. I have always liked LeBron, but I admit the LeBron that play with the Cleveland Cavaliers was a more passionate LeBron and played the game with "more magic" and I bet he enjoyed it more.

Without Bosh, if the Heat make it out of the east, they won't make it past the Spurs if they make it out of the West

I guess another thing that pissed me off was that the people up in Cleveland gave Lebron help when he asked for it. Didn't have depth at center? They got Jamison and albeit a "past his prime" Shaq, he still got it. They also went to the Eastern Conference Finals the year before and got shut down against a 3-happy Magic team with Dwight. I was rooting for him when he was in Cleveland because he was the man. Now that he's in Miami, he is perfectly ok with being the beta to Dwayne Wade, and sometimes even Chris Bosh's, alpha.
I believe he can be a leader, but it seems like he doesn't want to be. He takes over games in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter but becomes the assist master when crunch time happens.

I believe Lebron wants to be "the guy", but only when he WANTS to be "the guy" I also believe he did have more fun when he was in Cleveland. It was a lot of fun to watch. In Miami, it's like they can never relax and have a bit of fun, because they put that pressure on themselves by saying what they said about not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5.............etc. I bet he has regrets now that he didn't have when he signed with Miami.

That's the thing. He's an athletic freak and can easily be one of the best, if not the best. It just sucks not seeing him reach that level of "I am going to hit this shot no matter what" that Kobe, Dirk, Durant, even Iguodala and others, have shown flashes over the past few years.

Going to football for a little bit. Watch out for Seattle. They will be dangerous this season.

Let's see if Matt Flynn is legit or if he's a system QB. Golden Tate, BMW, and Sidney Rice are talented, but they're no Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, etc.
Also, players tend to drop off once they have a nice contract. Lynch was running angry in 2010 and 2011, but he got that big payment earlier this year.
