For those who missed the stream (including me):
If I'm understanding this right, each finalist plays two songs, the first song is 華爛漫 ~Flowers~ (2nd EDITION) on Extreme, and the person with the highest score gets 5 points, next highest gets 4, and so on. Each player gets to choose any song for their 2nd song, and will be judged by their performance rather than score (which explains the guest judges). I'm not sure what their criteria is, but they give 5 points to the best performance, 4 to the next best, and so on. Of course, whoever has the most points wins.
That's awesome, actually.

What's the format of DanceEvolution's tournament, anyway, for the dork who can't understand Japanese...? They seem to just pick whatever song they know. It's like, some of these are more freestyle and others are more precision, so I'm a tad confused...
Whatever they're doing, kind of awesome to see there's serious players for it. And it's as intimidating as every other tournament.
