BG Scripts

Yeah, I did save a copy of that spreadsheet on my pc. Currently, I'm just going through each song and editing my files (long story short, I forgot the offset was a thing and just placed all the sm files. Turns out no, I can't just do that so I have to delete everything and start over pretty much). <------ There's probably an easier way to do that but literally cba to learn it rn.

Speaking of that spreadsheet, is it up to date? I'll probably try updating that spreadsheet at some point. Right other than replacing all my sm files, I'm working on perfecting my "build" of stepmania. I have a friend that teases me for still using 3.9, but uggghhhhhhhhh I'm not a fan of 5.

Do you know if there are other databases for the supernova/ultimate/universe era? I didn't play the ac versions of those but I did play the home versions.

For the sake of all this, I'll try giving github a crack. I barely use it and I'm not a fan of making accounts at websites I'm not gonna use much. I honestly think the spreadsheet is a GREAT idea for noobs like me and it's easily accessible (if you know what to look for honestly). I had to read through several threads to find this thread before I even found that spreadsheet. :cry:

After copying and pasting tons of bg scripts, I've more or less got everything as I want it to be. I do have a request/question: I could swear Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix) had a different movie in Extreme? Am I imagining that or is there a script for it somewhere? Or am I confusing it with the regular Cutie Chaser? :/ (I probably am, but I figured I'd ask here first.


Does anyone have these hosted someplace else? The links are dead.

I had to update my first page. As far as those links are concerned, I'll let you know that songs with music videos are in the Simfiles section.

But as for the RandomMovies, the only ones I saved are DDR Universe and DDR PS3. I'll try to upload them when I have the time.

EDIT: Upon rummaging my hard drives, unfortunately that's all I have.

Oof. Well whatever is available, tbh. I can't be picky about it. I wish I had taken better care of my data. I had no idea CDs could corrupt. I had mostly everything I had from ddruk burnt on some cds. Who would have thought? I'll keep looking but my hopes are quite low. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

It could be done by anyone but I have a remix of Healing Vision called "Healing Vision -trbj Full Ver-" remixed by someone named turbo jjjang. I wouldn't know what info someone would need to be able to make a script for that using the official bg movies for both Healing Vision and Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~...

Not sure if anyone's willing. This thread's been pretty dormant for the past few months. If anyone is actually willing, I'd request Dancing Stage Fusion scripts that's not yet present in the database.

There are a couple song I've corrected or added to my songs that aren't on the spreadsheet, but my dumb self didn't make a note of them. I do intend on going over them in the future. If I had excel, I'd edit that spreadsheet and post it here.

Ello-hay!

So, I need some help. I recently downloaded Project Outfox for my new laptop after my old one bit the dust, and I noticed that the File2Normal trick doesn't seem to work with Outfox. Is anyone else having this problem?


Also, I've been modifying the scripts I posted here, so that they can be appended to the MAX-EXTREME RandomMovies folder. It's still a work in progress, but I find it's a much more efficient method. Saves the trouble of having to copy/paste the appropriate files from that folder to the simfile itself.

As far as Project Outfox goes, I didn't even know that was a thing til I started coming around here a few months back. So, I have no idea.


I looked through whatever I have just now and I didn't find it. I know it's out there but I'm in the middle of a project and my time is limited at the moment. Otherwise, I'd help you look. Someone else in this thread may have it.

I've been doing it like this:

...when I should've been doing it like this!

So it wasn't Outfox's fault. It was an oversight from me. I'll make sure to correct those scripts!
