I'm currently studying at a college around LAX, and I am getting sick for not playing DDR anymore.. There are no arcade machines around here, I even took a 3 hour ride to Buena Park just to play DDR ;__; I bought a CF pad but I can't really play on it, I live on the 4th floor of an apartment. So I was wondering if anybody knows if there are any arcades around here. I'm willing to take 20-30 minutes bus ride there everyday

As of six months ago the AMF El Dorado Lanes bowling alley has DDR EXTREME with decent pads. It's across the street from Westchester Recreation Center on Lincoln Blvd. Walking distance from the airport itself.

Oh how you would have loved Arcade Infinity...
I wasn't there personally but just looking at the games they had you would have been one happy camper.

I know that place, its just 5 minutes away from walking distance. But the pad was very bad when I played there, and the machine crashes on certain BG video lol. And I told Family Amusement Corp about the condition of the machine and they took it away and said it will be back for a month, not sure if its going to be there again :c ... And yeah, just came here to study.. No way I can play on CF's ... They are way too hard to get used to it

Really? That's a shame. It was completely unlocked too.

You're going to have to go a lot farther than 30 minute bus ride to find a decent DDR machine in Los Angeles. In fact, I'm not sure if one even exists. (Round1's X2 and SuperNOVA2 are passable at the best of times but tend to be mediocre or worse, and that's gonna take you at least 2 hours to get to by bus.)
I haven't been to Underground Arcade in Huntington Park but I know some people played there regularly last year. Not sure if they still go or not. They have/had a DDR Extreme and Pump It Up Pro 2. Their Yelp page suggests it's not worth going though.
I suggest picking up Pump It Up. ESPN Zone at LA Live (just short of downtown) has a good Pump It Up Pro.
