It's not that bad, actually. It does require music loaded on your iDevice, but that's not so bad if done right. And Konami did right here. The game does do an auto-gen with the notes (select the third option down when you load a new song), or you can download already made note files for the song (first option on top). What's even better is that you can just make your own notes for the song (middle option). I love that it's free. And I think that this would be good practice before Reflec Beat Plus is released. Get your fingers and reactions ready for the next big music game to hit the iPad. Though now that this is released, RB+ is, I'm guessing, gonna be released next month.

Just downloaded it and played the "tutorial". it looks good so far, like a cross between DJ Hero, Bit Trip and TTR.

Well, this is confusing.
I can only seem to make 2 song patterns but there are much more slots. And what are "BG points"? Something for scores?
Edit: I think they're based on scores and allow you to create more. :/

I can't tell what's going on based on the screenshots. Anyone care to elaborate on this?

Konami's answer to Tap Tap Revenge and Technika it looks. I like the approach.

This is a great idea for a game. I like that you get to use your own songs for the main game. I wonder if Konami is going to expand on this idea?

I just made a Japanese iTunes account and DLed the app...I got to say, This is pretty fun. I added one song and played on Medium. I got a High Score and I unlocked the Hard Mode...Seem simple enough.//

A new update was just made available which now allows iPad users to play the game without having to use the 'iPhone' window (Basically it now fits full-screen on your iPad).

I got this game before the update aaaaaaand didn't quite figure out the game until going through the tutorial and other junk, and since I had no music on my iPad, i had no way of creating and playing any song. But after I put music from my PC to my iPad, i put in ZED / USAO, I'm So Happy / Ryu*, and The Fountain / Pendulum on it, so far it's not that bad. I mean this game doesn't have the whole "works" to it but it's simple and with the ability to put in your own song and create something out of it? For me it's much better than listening to it
