If it's just little kids having a little bit of fun, I don't care, I just ignore it. When it's dumbass guidos/wiggers/skater kids purposely trying to throw me off because "LOL DANCING GAMES ARE GAY", I usually tell them off using a buttload of sarcasm.

People always, from time to time, try to mimic some iidx play and try to get their groups to laugh, but I don't care when they button mash the iidx keys on the 1p side as I play on 2p.

Well, to be quite honest, if no one is nearby and there are like 5 credits on a machine...I would use them.

Please do; there's nothing more annoying than working at an arcade with a 5th mix and Max2 out front and the announcer keeps going "Come here and Play!" or whatever the Extreme-era announcer says for like an hour on end because some n00b thought it took a gazillion credits to play one song.

and then you really want to play because the game is freaking taunting you but you're stuck with a spoiled kid who can't decide if he wants a bucket of cheeze balls or 100 small laffy taffies

-In the middle of a game, some fat bitch goes up to me, pushes me off, and yells "LET MAH SON PLAY"

Initial Reaction: "What. The. Fuck"
Later reaction: I got like, 4.75 free games since she put in 20 tokens. So happy days.
-A dude comes up to me and randomly hits Energizer on the song wheel (Then, I was a ten-passer). I dumped half his tokens into mine to see if he'd notice.
-If you play hands normally, people yell "YOUR CHEETING"
-On a more positive note, a toddler-age girl and her mother play. The mother actually dances, and fails miserably. The kid got a Star on Fly With Me Novice. Future ITG player, I'd assume.

I miss working in an arcade. Hearing the Supernova Attract sequence for 8 straight hours was amazing.

yes i think everyone had had some nuff nuff try to put them off their game, or press the down arrow from behind the stage....i was onces playing parapara and a guy jumped on the stage to my left trying to put me off...basically he got a swift punch in the face then back to dancing...its funny cause i didnt loose my combo haha....

there are soo many factors that take part in arcades to annoy the played...but as long as the pads are good and the sound is at a good level and NOT next to some retarded ticket machine with kiddies running around its all good!!

"Oh god what I have dooooone?!"
I don't get much crap at timezone, but then not many kids go to timezone. At timeout up the road, there's alot of kids and school kids at certain times, but I don't normally have to deal with them stomping on the pads and shit. I mean sometimes they do after my games, and sometimes kids stand next to me to watch, but not anything bad.

Though I do get my share of sarcasm in amongst the 'wow you're cool/insane' after playing max 300 or something. hah.

I grabbed his cup and dumped half of them (left then on the ITG machine) while he butt into some basketball players' game. I was planning to give them back (assuming I could calculate it) but he didn't notice.

My response to this is, "You're only saying that because you're nowhere near as good as me."

That has yet to fail to shut their mouths.

Gameworks in Seattle has their X2 sitting next to this weird balloon pumping redemption game. Luckily, it's no big deal because the X2 pads suck and need prompt, technical help. If it weren't for the new songs on X2, I probably would have spent more time on SN2 than X2. Also, I do kinda like showing off when I play on X2 since it's outside of the DDR Room and out in the open.

Why on earth would I want to be as good as someone in a gay dancing game?

I love kids .

As long as they don't interrupt me while I'm playing .

While I was playing a " X2-based-on-a-stepmania " machine , a 2/3 years old kid came up to the 2P and he started to " Dance " . I was shock to see that he took off his sandals , and then after I finished a song , I said , " LOL Kid ! What the hell are you doing ?! " , then his guardian took him and his sandals . XDD

It made me laugh actually . I think its because he saw me while playing using my bare foot . I always took off my slippers when I play because it slips off on my feet .

That totally sucks.
I've had people "dance mock" next to me when I play something like Max 300, but that's lame when they physically take you out of the pad.

I can so relate to the DDR player, when I was playing during school...Ugh so many idiots mock playing right next to me, some bumping into me and nearly failed a song.
