The international version of RB+ (REFLEC BEAT plus) died recently. I'm losing hope on playing the Limelight songs.

You can easily make a US iOS account and download the US version of the app on the store which is still intact if I recall and it still has everything.

I do live in the west, and have A U.S. Apple ID. Maybe it gave me the error because my iPhone offloaded the game... But, who knows, the game is old anyway, but will be remembered.

Just tried it on my iPad. The game works, but the shop gives a "connection failed" error.

It did work a couple of months ago, and I was even able to redownload all my old songs, but it doesn't work now.

Oh my bad lol! It was one of my favorite rhythm games that I got good at quickly.

Maybe this shutdown is global as well, so, RB plus/+ is virtually dead.

Oh, that explains it. Guess it was only a matter of time. I was honestly surprised the store still worked this year.

Bruh I am peeved. Miffed even. One might even say fumed. Did anyone successfully find a way to preserve all of the songs and levels in the game or is it too late? The last post here mentioned using an app extractor to save all of the extra songs, but did they succeed?

I did not. I had to update my phone so I used an app extractor and tried injecting it into my moms phone to test it. It loaded with the 3 default songs and nothing purchased. Fortunately, updating my phone did not fuck up my save file and everything was fine. But as far as sending it to someone else, I don't know

I don't know if we're allowed to talk about this here, but there's a fan project custom version of Plus called RB Hot that has preserved not only all the arcade and iOS stuff, but adds thousands(and I mean literally thousands) of new songs that feel official(there's a whole team that's dedicated to this that work so hard on this version it's truly impressive) to the game that breathes new life into the game. I've had it for a while now and it's probably the definitive Reflec Beat experience. There's a discord server where you can obtain it but it's currently closed for invite, but DM me I'll give you the link to get this.

It definitely exists, I have it, and it's actually not new, it's been around for a few years now. I just recently discovered it earlier this year through friends on discord. it's been getting constant new content updates, there are literally thousands of new songs(bemani crossovers from all games, stuff outside Bemani, BMS stuff,the list is enormous what's been added) that have been added since it's debut, it's pretty amazing, and again, it's the definitive way to enjoy the game now and enjoying new official style content with new songs. I love it.


No problem! And yeah you would need to get on the discord to be able to install it because even though you don't have to jailbeak your iPad to enjoy it, you need to know how to sideload apps and while it's not difficult, it's a bit of an involved process.
