To be fair, Air Special is off anyway.

I played it twice on a X (eu). I had this feeling (even if i know that someone pfc'd it on the same cab).

But anyway, when i saw the video i could tell (again) that the X2 issue is pretty bad :/

Oh no not this shit again D:

This is THE most played song on Bordeaux's SuperNOVA 2... Teenage emos love this song. The owner of the arcade can't hear it anymore Laughing Out Loud

Seems pretty sync on this machine, as I have seen several AAs and a few AAAs.

s3phy, it's even worst with the new audio. I can't stand when someone is playing it on a DDRX.
The songs makes me want to puke and when i see the chart :/

I played it once twice in my life and that was SO bad that i couldn't focus at 100% and score well.
But someday, i'll have to play it. Except if i play on a SN2/X (jap) cab.

Back on topic : Brazen, you told me few months ago that Konami was aware of this problem. Are they still working on it or they just let us with this buggy cab ?

Resolves it completely or just slightly? ... Either way, this shouldn't happen.

Yeah it's weird. I didn"t believe it when my friend said that to me. But when you will test, you will see the difference (I hope).

Soso, any news ?

Yeah it didn't work, it drifts just like before...

PERSONAL proof of drifting bug:

Playing to music, then graphics for stage 2 and 3:

As you can tell, it's very very bad if you play to the music.

look on the bright side... the 400bpm boss songs with crazy crossovers and twists will be easier because the BPM will be more like 395 instead of 400

*gets shot*

but uh seriously... I wonder how X1 Betson pads would do in Valkyrie Dimension?
This is how X2 Betson pads held up for PHN!X (left arrow was lol; up and right occasionally phantom fired IIRC)

edit: that video doesn't really do the pads "justice" though. I put a Mei S-Heavy score on the machine (I'm out of shape, haven't played dancing games for more than maybe an hour combined over the past 3 weeks before yesterday) and PHN!X wasn't able to beat it because the pads got worse.

Our pads here have held up well for what they are for two months. After today though, that is going to change. I got 898xxx on VD heavy and 732xxx on VD oni. Pulled 9 and a miss on both Mei heavy and Vanessa heavy and got 19FC on Possession heavy. After today, they felt really recessed and are harder to combo on.

Mm... Looks to me like Konami released the update/game forgetting that the frame rate in the UK is about 17% less than the US or Japan. I've seen the opposite happen when playing Dancing Stage on a US PS2. The arrows were about 17% faster. Just a guess there.

That makes sense, although I have yet to hear about the US and UK cabinets having different displays, which would use different framerates. Does anyone know if they use the same hardware?

They would have to use different displays. I don't know how to fully explain it, but I'm sure someone can better explain. Basically the frame rate in the US/JP would be 60 hertz and the frame rate would be 50 hertz in the UK.

Fortunatly, that's not the purpose in a rythm'n game...
