I have been playing around with the thought of posting a list of the best players for a while now. I think its makes the game more fun when you know your rivals and know who is truly the best at the game.
Basically this will be a top 50 list for each difficulty which will be listed by the amount of Heavy and Challenge AAA's you achieved. In order to get on this list you need...
-At least 1 AAA on whichever difficulty leaderboard you would like to be place on. You can be placed on more then one.
-25% of you AAA's need to be proofed (video or picture) for Expert and Challenge difficulty ONLY.
-To post in this thread with you Zenius-I-Vanisher score tracker image like this...

I will then add you to the list and place you among the top 50 assuming you qualify. I will try to keep the first post updated every day as people start posting.
DanceDanceRevolution Top Ranker Expert/Challenge
1. Aaron
(http://aaronin.jp/)
2. DR. D (Actually 735 AAA's)
3. FAT JOSH
(http://www.youtube.com/user/MISSsuperstarrr)
4. OMG KON!
5. FOXXYMITO (310)

6. GALO

7. OVERGATE (207)

8. STITCH

9. PANSTYLE

10. S.H (39)

11. YINDESU

12. TEL (2)

13. TANTO

13. OMG PAIGE

DanceDanceRevolution Top Ranker Difficult
1. OVERGATE (275)

2. FOXXYMITO (210)

3.. S.H (3)

DanceDanceRevolution Top Ranker Beginner/Basic
1. OVERGATE (556)

2. FOXXYMITO (168)

3. BDRP

Disqualified Player List
T@COLORS

Carlitos^ ^

If you are listed here you need to have more AAA proof (pictures and videos) to be added to the lists. I might be able to place you on each list according to how many pictures of proof you do have upon request.

Yeeaaahhh...
Good idea, but me getting AAA's on AC = Not happening unless the AC is in good condition, and since most of Tampa's DDR AC's are either in bad shape or it's me that is in bad shape, i only see about 3 or 4 people actually being on the list out of the other members here on the site.
Plus, AS FOR ME, i don't have that much time to spend money on DDR as of late, but i do like the concept though. It's just, trying to get people and qualify them only for getting a certain amount of AAA's, with proof, is a bit...too much. For example, let's say i were to make a DJ Hero 2 Top Ranker thread. Now imagine me only allowing people who meet requirements of getting over 20 FC's on Expert plus have an average ranking of Top 10 in the leaderboards on their respective console and must provide proof by either picture or video. Easier said than done PLUS you also have to take on the fact of adding modifiers to the song as well, would adding a modifier count as getting a AAA or would it not count? Same deal for my example too, you can easily boost points and get FC's better with Hyper Deck or any other Power Deck...
I could be completely wrong though and this thread could take off like a firework, but to be honest i just wouldn't know who else would tag along for this...aside Dr. D and Aaron.

What's the point of having requirements if it's the TOP 50?

Maybe we should have an online tourney on here that can be either on AC or CS or even both and figure out who the #1 DDR player is overall along with best male and female DDR players.

Hey Kon, did you get that 350 AAA/PFC on arcade?. I see your CS videos, but i think these scores doesn't count because the timing is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easy compared to the arcade one

Also the idea of having both female and male lists I like.

My last AAA (no. 62) was about 1 year ago (when I could still play). They were home version AAA's though (no arcades here).

Alright I'll loosen the requirements a bit. Check the first post in a few minutes. Maybe I'll make several leaderboards instead for lower difficulties as well.
Edit: updated first post. All you need is one AAA to qualify (on any difficulty!)! You must have a Z-I-V score tracker signature card to be able to make it onto the leaderboard! Expert and Challenge difficulties still have to be partially proofed.

Ya those don't count towards my score tracker. All 350 AAA's have been done on arcade games only. You can check all the pictures and video evidence my tracker has as proof (every AAA has been proofed).Edit: updated first post. All you need is one AAA to qualify (on any difficulty!)! "Not going through this again" |
I would be interested in doing it but I may have to practice a bit more to get the one AAA as all the machines near my local area are not good conditions. I might hopefully go next week to Airport Bowl and play DDR X (if only it hasn't been removed). If the machine is in good shape then I'll probably expect to get higher scores than I had on other machines near my area.
Haven't had a single PFC AAA on any DDR machine at the moment but I have more than 150 PFC AAA's at home so it wouldn't count.
I'm going to try and give it a go but I won't post anything just yet.

The score tracker:

I also PFCed two
songs on the X2 Machine (one of them is A Brighter Day). I didn't take any photos and I only got them because I was playing on that mode where you can play a
song for the first stage haha. I would of posted them up on the score tracker anyways, but I forgot how many PERFECT!!s I had....

"Wow, 4 types of corn!" |
I'm kind of torn on joining yet-another-list. I'd be happy fitting into the "Over 30s" players.
Unfortunately I don't have a funky ziv banner image because it would take so long to enter in all the scores, link photos, etc. Is there a way to just import from a text list or something to speed up the process?
I have my Excel chart of all 1260 arcade AAAs/PFCs here (Expert/Challenge):
http://aaronin.jp/aaronaaalist.xls
Some of the recent photos are in the accomplishments thread. The only videos I have are ages old (2003-2004) but there are a few on single and double.
I don't have nearly as many of the harder ones (>=15 on the X-scale) as Dr. D, but I just do my thing.
There are a few others with high number of PFCs but I'll have to let them speak for themselves and I don't know how many of them have ZIV accounts. Maniac Stepper have over 900, DJ Sterf is over 1200, and at least a handful of Japanese players (Disney, Fujitake for example) are in the thousands as well (hard to determine the exact number since they count light and standard AAAs in with their heavy/oni ones.
