As the thread name suggests, this thread is about posting something that you bought on a whim.
It doesn't have to be something that was incredibly expensive but anything that you think was not a smart buy or maybe it was to much for you to have at the time.
I think my worst was shelling out $200+ for a DSi XL, Super Scribblenauts, and Pokemon SoulSilver in the same week.
Not to mention having four unplanned IIDX CS purchases from ebay over the course of a few months,
however I actually want to have a collection.

I thought Double dash seemed fun when I played it. I don't own it so I didn't spend that much time with it. The only Mario Kart game that I have ever bought a hard copy for was Mario Kart DS... I just can't find it anywhere.

Around 3rd grade or so I ignorantly bought the "game" Sonic Schoolhouse. It still sticks with me as the most horrifying dissapointment ever.

I thought Dance Factory would keep me occupied for hours, but I ended up playing it for one day and never using it again. Thankfully it was $3. I would play it more if my metal mats were compatible with it too.

I could've gotten Dance Factory for the same amount but I didn't want to get it mainly because I don't have that many CDs that i'd want to dance to (unless it works with burned discs) and also because it just seems weird.

Forgot to mention some $30 tuner that I bought while I was at the music store.
It tunes through vibrations made by the strings, so I'm able tune in any environment.

Bleach Versus Crusade was a waste of $65 It is a little bit fun if played with friends, but it just sucks as a game for one-player and the battles are extremely repetitive. The only thing it has going for it is the mapping of the levels.

@Hooky: Don't get it. RCT1 and 2 are much better.
As for this thread, I'd have to say Game Tycoon. We got it and it ended up not working. We also called the manufacturer to no avail. They said that we must have broken the game ourselves, but we hadn't even opened it yet. >_<

Good to know. I was thinking of getting that game.Speaking of Bleach, Bleach: Shattered Blade is awful and I don't know why I shelled out $25 for it. Pretty much everything about it sucks.

Adobe Premiere Elements 7. $100 wasted at Best Buy & found out it couldn't run on my old PC & wasn't Mac supported either, and when I tried to return it, Best Buy wouldn't let me. So much rage that day
