Hey guys,
I have created a score tracker for DDR.
It's basically the same deal as the beatmaniaIIDX score tracker; you can rank yourself globally, continentally and nationally against other players.
At this time of writing, SuperNOVA is the only machine to be fully supported with all stepcounts in the database. MAX, MAX2, EXTREME, EM, EM2 and Fusion are partially supported.
If you want to enter any scores for a song that is currently Missing Stepchart Information you will need to tell me the total step count and freeze count in that song so I can add it to the database.
Feedback about the system is appreciated. ;)

Nice, this is the first online tracker that supports SN right?

Added a accuracy graph thing when you view a user in the DDR Score Tracker.
Any other graph suggestions?

Whoa, that graph is prety cool good job.
Idea for an other graph ? Maybe a graph for the level of the song. What kind of song is played (5 feet, 6 feet etc). I don't know, it's a stupid idea i guess lol...

I've made five changes last night:
1. Introduced new icons directly from KONAMI's ranking system for the modifiers and status.
2. Removed rankings in game view as that made the game view THREE times longer to show up.
3. Compacted the game view, now you don't have to scroll a lot to get to your song.
4. Removed the artist name in game view. Hovering over the song name will give you the song name and artist.
5. Your ranking is now shown in song view.
Feedback will be nice.
Feedback tends to come from comments from OTHER BEMANI sites most of the time and I won't know what to change in terms of the interface unless anyone tells me directly.

It is pretty complete compared to other score trackers. GJ man!
umm... it would be nice an overall global ranking, though. But the system is very complete and easy to use

Can comments be showed somewhere in the song list?
Can we get a heavy/challenge combined view?
This is definitely a nice tracker. Good job.

Thanks a lot for the reply.
Another thing which might be helpful is a warning if a person is about to replace a score with a worse one. Sometimes, if you have non combos and the scores are close, it's not obvious that you're trying to replace a better score, so it might be useful.
Another very small thing is that you're alphabetical order is different from the ABC sorting of the machine (I can only vouch for SN2 Japan at the moment). The difference is that they don't consider spaces when they sort and you do. I don't know if this is actually important or not. But I noticed it when I was trying to go down my score sheet from here. (It's really noticeable for the 'A's and 'T's because a lot of songs start with 'A ' and 'The '.) Unfortunately, that's not how most computer languages sort strings so it'd be a bit out of the way to implement and possibly not worth it.
That's all for now. Thanks.

Nah, not gonna bother with the implementation of that kinda sort... and that warning thing sounds good. I'll have a look.

Man, I keep hitting new reply instead of "Post New Reply" when using the Quick Reply box.
It's going to be shorter this time.
Another feature that might be useful to some people is the ability to add scores using DP % or DP total.
In SN1 and SN2, the scores you get for songs coorespond exactly to your DP% and in Extreme, while the score is useless for regular songs, when you complete an oni course it gives you your total DP, which could be used to insert scores instead of the step breakdown.
There are pros and cons to such an addition, but it's something to ponder at least.
Right, this might be my last one for now, it's late in Japan.

Could do, but for consistency, I'd prefer if people entered the step counts. It creates less confusion when people view scores on a song.

But if you do that you break all the statistiQ system with perfect and all. Personaly i prefer by far enter perfect, great and all

OK, warning will show up under the validation bit if the score is lower than the one currently stored in the database.

I noticed something about print a score sheet. There's no convenient space for writing new scores.
Also, even when the songs are printed in japanese they seem to be sorted according to their english translations rather than their japanese romanizations. For example Jupiter is sorted into the Js even though it's listed as "mokusei etc." I think having a consistent system might make more sense, in this case.
These are more observations than anything else; I might seem like I'm finding fault with anything, but I just figure it's better to mention the things that come to mind than to stay silent.

Thing is, the database doesn't store the romanisation of the Japanese names, so it has to be sorted via it's English name, and besides when English SN2 gets JUPITER, it wouldn't make sense for that to be put under M.
I made the score sheets small so it saves on pages, but if it's too small I can change it.

I would say then it should be written in English on the score sheet. But that would probably make it even harder to find the songs.
Maybe if the columns for each step (marv perfect great good etc) were consolidated there would be room for a new score column.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE:
This is a really old append, but the score tracker is returning a 503.

Yeah I know, the server is being a bit f***ed up at the moment. I'll try and contact my host about it.
