The Obvious answer.
If you using the KOC fott pedel, its not very good, to get the maximum effect, play with your sock on, place the ridge in the groove below your toes and then practice.
Im also terrible at it and can only do 30-35 with bass on, with autobass, I can pass 65-75. ALOT of the difficulty comes from the bass pedel and, unfortunaly, the KOC dosent offer anywhere near as one as good as the arcade or proper bass pedel.

Eh. I saw the KOC once i didnt even think about buying it... I guess i'll just get a midi drum set. Anyways this post is pretty old so im a little better now (50-55 or so
)
