Yup, just as the title says, a "Workout Tracker" that works almost like the Score tracker, but instead only tallies up calories and i guess length of time that you played through in Workout Mode...
This mode gets tracked ONLY FOR WORKOUT MODE, you can not post any SP Free Play song score or anything of the sort (there can be exceptions if you only want to take a picture/video of the amount of calories burned in one song)
The idea is a bit skecthy, but this would actually motivate a lot of veteran members who have not played DDR in a long time and can also bring in new members who don't have much access to a DDR arcade machine and can start posting up Workout Mod progress.
We're still trying to figure out how we can calculate what will be put into this "tracker", and i hope some of the guys from the "Out of Shape" thread can clarify/contribute to helping out how we can run this tracker smoothly and for the basis of having fun and losing weight, because heck that's one side of DDR this site really hasn't hit on

This is a good idea because there is no form of CS tracking for any game on this site and it would be a great asset. It would have users become more involved in the site. Some people don't have access to any of the games listed in the AC score tracker. As Max said this could serve as motivation for many users and this provides a great way for more users to get involved with each other as well.
Append: Also we can upload pictures of our results to prove them just like in the AC score tracker.

All we need to do is calculate how our results will be implemented in the tracker. Overall calories burned, Number of entries, song results (A, AA, AA, ect.), and difficulty.

I also agree that this is a good idea. It'll motivate some people, hopefully.

It could work. It would give something to keep track of for the CS players.

StepMania 4 has the best calorie counter I've seen in any Dance Game. It gives about 1/2 as much as all the DDR games I've seen (like Max 300 usually give me 75+cals on DDR, but in SM4 it's 35 cals, much more realistic). It also tracks your calories in ANY gameplay mode you choose, StepMania Online, Normal Gameplay, Oni mode, Workout mode, Courses, Survival, Doubles, Singles, Solo, etc..., and it keeps counting for that profile as long as you play, days / months / years, just keeps going up up up. A great way to track calories burned without having to write anything down, just make sure you always play in your profile, don't erase your profile or change it, and make sure to enter you weight and change your weight if it changes in real life to make it accurate. This mode gets tracked ONLY FOR WORKOUT MODE, you can not post any SP Free Play song score or anything of the sort (there can be exceptions if you only want to take a picture/video of the amount of calories burned in one song)

Again, best calorie counter of any dance game by ALOT.

But I don't have any CS Games nor a pad for Stepmania. I plan on doing this on an AC DDR X2 near me.
EDIT: Well, the courses came from a different suggestion, however.

$1 for 3 songs = $1 for 6 mins or $10/hour.EDIT: Well, the courses came from a different suggestion, however.
In just 3 days = $30, you can buy a foam dance pad for StepMania on ebay for $30 shipped and workout all you want at home, with alL CS songs, all the custom songs you want, sky is the limit. Obviously I'd highly recommend getting a USB pad (search for those 3-in-1 dance pads instead of the ones with a converter, just make sure one of the connections is NATIVE USB).

Courses are thread specific. They will be in the DDR Workout Accomplishments thread (not official title) . The Workout Tracker would be for keeping track of your progress or just entering a log of your workout results.
Append:
It's meant for giving CS players and people who don't have access to the listed AC games something to keep track of.
Even if the tracker isn't workout mode specific it would still be nice for there to be some sort of tracker for CS.
