So I was watching some videos on Youtube of players playing DDR X with e-Amusement cards on, I noticed that there was a folder named "Rival" in the Folder lists.
So what does this folder contain and what is it for?

I do believe it contains the songs both you and your rival have played. I guess it's just for easier navigation.

That is basically it. It also goes down one level further to "Win" "Lose" and "Draw" based on score (letter grade?) so you can pick songs you wanted to work on against your "rival" more easily.

Rival is by far one of the best features implemented in the E-Amuse system. I always rival myself to try and improve what I have done before. Its great motivation.
Anyways to give a better idea on how it works just think about racing games that allow you to have a ghost rider that was your personal best or rivals best lap riding along side of you. For DDR its just keeping a step by step record of you got each step from your rivals best score and how you are currently competing with it on your current attempt.
