"BAZINGA!!!" |
Hello all, for a long time now I've been trying to find a forum or website that would be able to help me make a simfile for a few songs that I have from Kamen Rider W (by the way, that's not a typo with the title, it's suppose to be written as Kamen Rider W, not Kamen Rider Double). The only thing I need help with is the stepping of the song, everything else, from the banner to the Background Image I can make myself in Photoshop, so if anyone knows of a person or website that takes simfile requests, I would be a very happy camper. Also, I've tried to post on the official Stepmania forums under their request section but nobody responds to me requests, so please don't go and say to try over there. Thanks again in advance for any help at all.

Have you heard of "Record In Selection" in StepMania? It lets you hit arrows on your keyboard as the song plays, and when the song is over in 1-2 minutes you will have a step chart that you created.

Just remember that this tends to have bad results, especially if you're not an experienced stepcharter.
What they probably need is this tutorial on bemanistyle.

I shall try both those options out, I've already started to step the OP the Kamen Rider OOO Anything Goes. I've gotten like, the first 10 measures done, so hopefully those options will help me!

I cannot believe you suggested this.

Um, that's how I begin all my stepfiles. I knew nobody was going to volunteer, so if you want a stepfile you really need to do it yourself. I know I left out like every detail (like how to sync it first), so keep posting if you need more help. It's a fairly complex process, but begin playing with Record in Selection to get a taste of how to place arrows after you have the BPM and OFFSET established. Then you'll need to go back over the charts and clean them up to make patterns paddable, or whatever your intent is.If all you want is some quick stepcharts to songs you like, this is the easiest way to do that, if you care about quality, then you'll need to massage your charts. But you can be certain nobody is going to do the work for you.

Please don't actually upload any simfiles created with the "just record in stepmania" method...

Don't worry, I found a program that can auto-generate steps for the songs i was talking about, and I've played 2 of them so far, and they turned out pretty good. For those that are wondering what program it is, its DancingGorilla, and as long as it works for me, I'm am happy llama. Oh and yes people, I am kinda lazy when it comes to stepping songs, because I am not that patient of a person. Anyway, once I've played them all, I'll probably post ask for my own simfile page and post the first song I played, Anything Goes which is the Opening to Kamen Rider OOO, then I'll shorten the other 3 songs and remake the steps for them, and post both the short and long versions of the songs. Main reason I'm doing this is because the longer versions of the songs are about 4 and a half minutes long, and that's a little bit too long. Thanks for the suggestions fellow users, I really am thankful for them and I hope you enjoy the easy simfiles hehe.

Dancing Monkeys became Dancing Gorilla, heh. From the files I've seen before from Dancing Monkeys they still need alot of work to make them good. Make sure you play-test all the files.

I admit I've used Dancing Gorilla and I agree it needs work. I wish they could update the program so that
and
can be created also have the foot rating go beyond a 9 (yes there is no 10 foot rating on this program)
