you can search the android market for "beats" and it comes up. simfiles save into beats/songs on your SD card, its really easy to navigate but not quite the same as SM. you choose to pick a song, navigate the folder to the .SM file and play from there.
by default, its on easy with x2 speed on. it has the whole slew of speed mods in options though, which is awesome. if your phone doesnt support multi touch (sadly, my cliq doesnt) then you cant play songs with jumps as there is no "jumps off" option, but an occasional jump wont fail you.
its in beta, but it seems pretty good. i played a couple songs and aside from the jumps thing (i hope they add the "jumps off" setting in a future release) its okay on motoblur 2.1 hacked onto my cliq, it should work fine for those of you running motoblur 1.6.3 like youre supposed to.

i registered on their forums and made a request for a "jumps off" option and after a few tries of explaining what i meant it seems like they decided it was a good idea, apparently he already has it working to remove all but the left most arrow in any beat that has more than one arrow at a time, its just a matter of when said update is released.

Got this working nicely on my HERO now, can recommend this as a portable option 
The simfiles from here are working well, it just has trouble with some ITG ones. The parser is being worked on.

a new version of beats is out. i'm not sure if its because i upgraded to a G2 or because its coded better now (probably a combination of the two) but its even better. it runs very smooth even with background images and auto-sync background data enabled. they added hidden/sudden/stealth, holds are working, and the title screen got a face lift (looks nice too).
i feel that after a great update like this i should bump the thread so anyone with an android phone can get this app.
