Me and my friend (Jeffito) are very proud to announce that we have added our DDR machine to the Huskies Den which is now available for public play! Every week we switch Mixes so every week is something new in a sense. We have these mixes up for play...

EXTREME
In all honesty we are doing this for the fans (you) and to make the game even more fun! The machine is only $0.50 for 4 songs and all sensors work on every panel. We in fact, also, HAVE WORKING MEMORY CARD SLOTS. Its so awesome I had to put it in caps! We also added some fans on the side of the machine to cool down players. Your welcome!
Every month we will most likely have a Freeplay Friday also, pay a small fee, and play unlimited amounts of time all night (while respecting the line)! It will be only $3.00 and discounts will sometimes be given to Bemani/Music Game fans on websites so you might want to watch our Facebook page or the threads for our arcade machine.

The arcade is located in the Basement of the Student Center on the NIU Campus. You can either park in the parking garage or the other large parking lot right by it.
There are seriously like no other games in here that are worth playing besides the DDR machine. I am looking into purchasing some other games but have not had so much luck lately so please be patient. We just need to find that good deal (I am really looking into getting a Drummania or Percussion Freaks).

I wish many other arcades would do this, I think its something very unique that will bring back most players, new and old, and will increase revenue.

Even though it's a 90 mile drive, I might head up there one of these days. I'm really in the mood for something that isn't EXTREME.

Ya if you guys are ever heading up here let me know in a PM or something. I will meet you there and change the mix to whatever you want to play if you have to drive from far away. I personally love MAX2, 4th Plus and 5th.
EDIT-Just want to post that we will soon be the only arcade to have Drummania in Illinois. It was the one machine I wanted the most next to DDR so I was very excited about purchasing it. It will be running Drummania 10th Mix. I am also looking into buying other arcade machines as well. If you guys come here and play on the machines, any cut I get from it goes towards more machines! Just remember that ;)

Sorry to bump the thread but is the Drummania cab that was at the Clock Tower Resort gone then? If you're the only arcade with Drummania that is. I can't remember what mix it was but I think it was a 9th or 10thMIX cab.

Sorry for the late reply but I really dont know. I never even heard of Clock Tower Resort and as far as I know I was told by a few people I was the only one that had a DrumMania available for public play in Illinois. Sadly the machine will no longer be at a bowling alley starting Mid/Late May. It will be in my garage with other arcade games but anyone that wants to play it can PM me and play. I also have a beatmania CORE REMIX, the DDR machine will probably be there and my friend wanted to put his beatmania III 7th mix in there as well. I am still obtaining more bemani games as I post.
