Just an idea that I'm throwing out there.
Look at this simfile:
http://www.mediafire.com/?kxrbjv62qaw6r9g
(Source: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewsimfile.php?simfileid=10230)
Basically I added a stop right at the point where the player fails, followed by a negative BPM change that skips to an empty part of the chart.

It more accurately simulates what appears on screen.
After all, there might be a stop or BPM change somewhere between the point where the player failed and what's visible at the bottom of the screen.

Can you use negative BPM's to simulate a failed thread? After all, there might be a stop or BPM change somewhere between the point where the player failed and what's visible at the bottom of the screen.
What is your real goal here? You want to show off a new gimmicky simfile? Are you attempting a tutorial? Why should anyone care?

No. Last I checked threads don't have BPMs.Quote: hellrazor

My goal here is to make a simfile that will be temporarily more accurate than what's currently out.Considering the less-than-positive attitude this thread is getting, should I have posted this under the DDR X2 Work Thread instead?

I finally understand what you did, you made a simfile for Valkyrie dimension that had a negative BPM gimmick because nobody has yet to film a complete step-chart. Thus you thought it would be neat to force a chart failure to mimick the failure of the player on the video.
I don't see the usefulness of this file myself, and much less the thread, and you sure weren't clear with your post.
