The video talk itself
Street Fighter 4 producer Yoshinori Ono and Tekken 6 producer Katsuhiro Harada battle it out and show off the first footage of Street Fighter x Tekken at Comic-Con 2010. There will be Street Fighter x Tekken (using the SF graphic) and Tekken x Street Fighter (using the Tekken graphic)
For PS3 and Xbox360

How will they make this work, SF characters use fireballs and special powers, Tekken is more physical-oriented combat
Hopefully it'll turn out great.

Will the movesets be different in each game (SFxT using the SF combo set, TxSF using the Tekken combo set)? Because seeing the SF characters extended movesets will be interesting.

I imagine they're just going to make "Street Fighter 4.2" and "Tekken 6.2", but instead of adding completely new original characters to both games, they'll base the new characters around the basic character designs of the "crossover" characters.
I doubt it'll be "This is how Ryu will fight in a Tekken universe", and more "This new Tekken character will look like Ryu from Street Fighter, and use moves which have similar animations."

FFFFF They should of used Tekken's engine. So smooth and defines fighting games.
Smooth doesn't not mean slow.

balrog, dudley, elena, zangief, honda, vega, rolento, gen, adon, karin, rainbow mika, cammy, t.hawk, and so many other SF characters completely wreck the theory that all SF characters have a fireball and the crossover with tekken wont work.
and before any idiots come in here and say something like "sfex shows that 3D SF doesnt work", there has NEVER been a SF game with 3D movement. SFEX is 2.5D just like tekken 1 and 2 were. bunch of kids are running around event hubs talking about games they never played and are too young to remember, so i just wanted to clear this up. i repeat, SF has never been 3D and tekken has been 2D. there will be little adapting tekken characters to the 2D style as the game was 2D at one point and much of the cast has a 2D moveset. only brand new characters will need adapting and since most of them dont have side stepping moves that wont be hard either. the capcom game has a better chance of being awesome because its 2D and all of the cast can work in that environment.
the namco version on the other hand... that team has their work cut out for them. i will NOT play it if ryu just happens to have ryu's moves and cant be played like ryu. and i dont even play ryu, i'm thinking of a kazuya/balrog team.

I'm gonna have to pass on this. I have too much on my mind and am also keeping track of other games to worry about this.

third strike online edition makes me happy, but i'll spend most of my time offline with friends.
also, i just thought of how awesome balrog or dudley vs steve fox would be. balrog for brute strength vs finesse and dudley to see who has better technique.
