Otaku's Dream: Nick's Simfiles (Anime Simfiles for Keyboard StepMania)

I will be releasing my anime simfiles in singles in this thread. I will update it whenever I finish one.

These simfiles are for Keyboard StepMania with an aim towards the Spread setup, you are welcome to try other setups such as Index or One-Hand, or even Pad as well. There are simfiles in this mix with stepcharts that are very plausible for new players who are getting into StepMania on Keyboard, this is the main focus of the simfiles.

Recommended Keyboard Setups
It is recommended that you play these simfiles with a Spread style setup on the Keyboard. Here are some examples of setups people use.

Average Setups:

(ZX./ Setup)

Z - Left Arrow
X - Down Arrow
. - Up Arrow
/ - Right Arrow

(ASKL Setup)

A - Left Arrow
S - Down Arrow
K - Up Arrow
L - Right Arrow

(M,./ Setup)

M - Left Arrow
, - Down Arrow
. - Up Arrow
/ - Right Arrow

These are just some examples of what people I know use to play. You can use any setup you want, just make sure you feel comfortable.

There will be (in most cases) 4 difficulty levels for my simfiles. These simfiles are recommended to be played on a SPREAD setup, and are made for keyboard only. These were -not- made for PAD, but they might be doable, however, I did not take into consideration things like Double Stepping when making these so do not be surprised if they feel awkward or are too hard to do on PAD.

Beginner - For beginning players.

Light - A bit harder than beginner, still fairly easy.

Standard - Somewhat harder than light. Solid, simple chart.

Heavy - For more advanced keyboard players. May be hard for players with less experience.

Oni - Same as Heavy, but even harder. It is an extra chart for challenging purposes, not all simfiles will have this chart. For more advanced keyboard players. May be hard for players with less experience.

This is the first ending to Hayate No Gotoku II (Second Season).

This simfile will be part of the new mix, "Nick's Mix". Which will be releasing soon. It was originally released in Otaku's Dream Mix 6, but only contained two difficulties. I have added new difficulties to the simfile with easier charts and fixed some bad patterns in the original charts as well.

This song is the second ending to Baka To Test To Shoukanjuu.
The song was arranged by yozuca* I believe.

I hated the first ending and it made me laugh when they noticed that it wasn't making them look good so they had to switch to the statutory kawaii^_^ ending theme.
But yeah, this simfile is pretty cool. The song is nice.

#3 "Meiya Kadenrou (冥夜花伝廊)" by Minami Kuribayashi

Heavy is the real chart, I didn't really do Oni seriously so it's hard and sloppy but I know some people like it that way so Wink.
This song is cool and Minami Kuribayashi is cool so that is why I step it.

These are great, but I have a question.

Does these charts have hands (hitting 3 arrows at the same time)? I asked because not all keyboards can hit 3 at the same time.

Yeah, they do. A lot.

Listen! was awesomely fun, as for Someone Else AHFOAFOISFHOIPWQAAAAAAAAAA thsi is why I don't play spread/KB charts.

Then again I was playing these with an FP7 :v

Only the Oni/Edit charts should have hands. Those are the optional ones, and usually aren't serious charts, they are more for difficulty purposes.

The charts below those shouldn't have any hands.

AceJay, the Oni chart for Someone Else is a joke chart by the way.
