Dance Factory is a sub--par dancing game that's sub-par.
The timing is atrocious, and there is no difficulty curve.
Basically, you insert a music disc of any sort, and the game will recognize what music it is. It then generates steps to the songs, and the steps are sub-par.
Also, the difficulty is sub-par. There's generally no real difficulty in playing, and it isn't synched, the arrows are just sprawled on the screen.
It's generally a sub-par game.
Anyone have this game? Have any tips on how to make it less... sucky? Like, is there a way to fix the sync?
Oh, and even the edit mode sucks. The song plays, and you have to press the face arrows when you want an arrow to come up. And you only get one try through.

It sucks. Why would you even want to have it? Their idea for sync was probably like Dance Praise, thinking nobody would notice/care.

Bought it($10), played it, got rid of it. Worst generic dance game ever made. I don't know about you, but I really dont think it's worth modding when there are plenty other better dance games out there.

I probably should sell it on ebay pretty soon.
The only fun part about it is that it has that black back of a disc that the Ps1 games had.

I'm thinking about making sims for the songs that are included with dance factory.

Codemasters should stick to making games like Colin McRae Rally/Dirt instead of making bottom-of-the-barrel garbage like Dance Factory.

Not much, I bought the game for $4 at Gamestop and only played it once or twice. I really hate how my Afterburner pad does not work on it and the fact that they switch the up and down arrows. There is also something about that game when I play it I feel depressed.

Waste of $4 tbh, and any dance mat game that swaps the up and down deserves no attention from me.
