Capcom officially unveiled the trailer for MvC3 at the Captivate event in Hawaii, the embargo on the people who attended was lifted today, so of course, the trailer leaked out as soon as possible. It's said that the game will have a playable demo at this year's E3 in June. It's for XBox 360 and PS3.

Looks like our days of waiting are finally over.

Saw Morrigan and I'm already happy. If they bring back Miss Tron and Captain Commando, I will be ECSTATIC. I'm just hoping it actually plays like the previous MvCs, because graphically, it's looking like SF4, which I wasn't a big fan of.

The graphics remind me a lot of a mix between SF4 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I don't mind them so much, especially considering the fact that Capcom isn't doing god-awful sprite rendered gameplay this time around.

Apparently this trailer was leaked by a few people from the Captivate event after the embargo on the event was lifted today. It's been said that Capcom will make the official announcement this afternoon.

you had blind hope with no actual hint of the game being released. since this has been in development since 2008 (check the interviews on eventhubs) the comments about TvC doing well could lead to new vs games wasnt a hint at all. they arent just starting this.

yea i just hope they at least put more than the 56 characters from mvc2, and also capcom give us back 6 button play, i hate the 4 button play from tvc...

I'm hoping this will be ported to PC as well just like SFIV since I don't have any next gen console to play with.

They've said the roster will be "at least 30", so it's probably somewhere from 30-35 (40 if we're lucky) and wasn't MvC2 only 4 buttons? with supers being done with both attack buttons?

No, MvC2 was six button play, they used two punch two kick and two "character assist" buttons. Supers are done usually by a combination of punch and kick though, so on that account you're right. Just wanted to clear that up

Also, I'm really hoping they restore 6 button play. TvC felt incredibly limited coming from MvC2 and so I'm really hoping it turns out well.

Yeah, it's cleared up, except for the part where you're wrong.

P+K was how you switched out your current character to other people in your team. e-s-g was right in that most supers are done with a directional motion and both punches or both kicks.

Im really hoping to see Franzisca von Karma in this. She almost made it into TvC, maybe this was the reason they held her out. Put her in the game that was going to get more hype.

I can see less people in this. In MVC2 the engine was a bit outdated to begin with, so a 56 man roster would be easy to pull off at the time. However it would be much harder to do with a somewhat new engine like TVC. My estimated guess will be 48.
