I'm not sure if its been mentioned or not but I found out songs like Love this Feeling and Vanity Angel are listed twice in different categories and are counted as separate scores.
I found this to occur in the Euro Mix 2 folder along with the Solo 2000 folder.

It could be because they have different charts and it's freaking out. I'll sort this in v6.

Vanity Angel's isn't, I thought. It's just rerated from a 9 in EM2 to an 8. And it's possibly the same with Love This Feelin'.

Oni-91: Vanity Angel technically is two different charts. They have different OK counts due to EM2's version not having any freezes whereas the Extreme/SN etc. version has freezes.

Just because the freezes are counted differently doesn't mean its a different chart,
By that logical anything on SN or greater with jumps could be counted differently because the combos are different.

I think you misunderstood, Dr. D. They *are* different charts. It's not a counting issue on EuroMix 2, the freezes are completely absent from the chart. Where there are freezes on the chart on Extreme and onwards, EuroMix 2's Vanity Angel does not have freezes at all in it's single heavy chart.

And as the EM2 charts have no freezes, the maximum obtainable dance points on those charts are different too, granting them separate chart status.

Solo 2000 machines count jumps as 2 arrows*, not 1 like the rest of the series. And I'm not certain about EuroMix 2, but I think it did change the number of freezes (kind of like Kind Lady did between DDRMAX and DDRMAX 2 for PS2) in some songs. The reason why they have the same stepcounts, I'm guessing, is because the updated information isn't/wasn't readily available for updating... like the step totals for counting jumps as 2, for instance.
*IE: hitting a jump with PERFECT timing on both will add 2 to the PERFECT count. It's also possible in Solo 2k to hit each arrow of a jump with different timing, like a GREAT + a GOOD.
Case in point:
Notice the double judgement at the end-jump of I'm Alive. Or any jump at all.
