Got home from GameStop's midnight release. Still watching the opening cutscene and it's looking pretty badass so far. Anyone else get/getting/going to get it?

Also, took a look at some of the achievements.

Enh, Mass Effect 2 was multi-disc. It already got me used to play-getup-change-play-getup-change-play-getup-change.

Also, don't forget that Blue Dragon was on three DVDs, Lost Odyssey was 4 DVDs, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope was 3 DVDs.

I'm seriously tired of the PS3 fanboys (not calling you one Max) bragging that some of the XB360 games are on multiple discs. Just because they come on multiple discs doesn't make the game any less enjoyable. I've been swapping discs in games since at least 1997 (FFVII), so I have no problem doing so. I do plan on getting FFXIII in all its 3 DVD glory soon.

I also remember having to swap discs for Legend of Dragoon, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, and Metal Gear Solid back in the PS1 days, I just think that by now disc-swapping would be gone...especially with the kinds of game consoles that we have now...

...but you know what? To each his own, i really don't care if i have to swap the discs or not, as long as the game stays the same, i'm cool with that. :3

My first impression about this FF :

1. Battle gameplay = back to old FF . Still have encounter battle and transferred into another dimension.

2. Nice concept about ACTION gauge that divided 3 bars.

3. Some old Guardian Foce = awesome design but I still confused when they transformed into transportation.

I prefer FF XII battle system that similiar with Online RPG where we can just kill the enemies without transfered into another

dimension and not anoyed by repetitive victory fanfare.

I want this game too but on XBOX360 version.

And seemly, It will sold on Indonesia soon .....

Judging background music, I think I prefer Final Fantasy X's soundtrack much more than XIII, it's just that much more memorable.

I wish the game wasn't as linear as it is though...

I was really shocked that they re-recorded all the vocal songs in English. I figured they'd turn the really terrible ones (especially the Chocobo one) as instrumentals for the English version.

I don't recall a Chocobo song with vocals in the English version? Or have I yet to encounter that? I'm on Chapter 10 at the moment.

EDIT: Oh never mind, got it, I don't think I've let it play that much that vocals popped up.
