"Magic Parade with me!"
Well? What do you think will be in SN2? Here's what I think.

More completely screwy 10-footers - Like FAXX, FELM, CHAOS and H-D-V before them, the next big 10-footers will most likely implement some really batpoop insane charts that either stops all the freaking time, FASTslowFASTslow, or dare I say it, INTENTIONALLY OFFSYNC! D:

Poison Arrows - Seen in the Ultramix/Unleashed Series' Challenge Mode, these arrows are, well, mines.

Roll Arrow Ripoffs - Seriously.

More Bad Lisences - MODERN GIRL IS NOT A GOOD SONG FOR DDR. But, chances are, we'll get something even worse in SN2.

What do you guys think?

fast-slow-fast-slow can be learned, same with stops. according to aaron over at AIJ FAXX has been AAAed, he saw the score on the e-amuse thing. there is the video of yasu AAAing HDV as his extra stage, and there is also the picture of K.K.'s chaos AAA as OMES(back before the unlocks).

the only way they could really make the 10s harder is to do the intentionally of sync thing, and that would be just dumb. i dont want them to rip ITG, but they need 11s.

DDR Shouldn't overdo themselves like they did on SuperNova cause SN was just a cheap attempt of DDR to go "We can pull the same shit ITG can do". Now that ITG is gone, they really shouldn't worry about anything, so they should take a calmer and smoother approach to SN2.

1. SuperNova 2 is going to be DDR's 10th Mix Arcade machine. And to celebrate this joyous occasin, they should bring back the classic songs that had a MANIAC 2 stepchart and put that as challenge steps (Boys, Dub-I-Dub, Vol. 4, Operator). Also it wouldnt hurt to bring back some other classics (preferably from the 5th mix).

2. Add more home version songs that go back to the USA home version of DDRMAX. I wanna see Dark Black Forest and You Leave Me Alone make another appearence. And as far as the Ultramix series... I wanna see 59 remix, and Frozen Ray Dirtyhertz, and Celebrate nite (Like its 99 mix).

3. Ty's idea of Ultramix's Poison arrows is cool... in fact, they should start using those for their new songs (or even new difficulties for old songs).

4. Hopefully their new boss songs dont have retarded steps that are poorly synched.

They should put MORE and I mean MORE songs from the IIDX series, like The Dirty of Loudness as a boss song, rottel-da-sun, rottel-da-Mercury, Gravity, Ryu's remix of Strong Jaeger and Under the Sky.

under the sky was in supernova, and its cut was pretty terrible. also, the steps have this whole beginner chart thing going on untill the last 45 seconds or so when it turns into rhythm and police.

they killed that song.

I really hope they do actually remake some of the step charts because like Under the Sky, they were god awful. Sad

If DDR is going to get a crossover, don't bloody kill it with a bad stepchart and music edit; it's probably one of the reasons I hate DDR stealing songs from other BEMANI.

Konami needs to remember that there are more Dancemania CD's than the EX series. I'd love to see some Speed/Trance stuff.Though I liked them bringing back some artists that we haven't seen in a while (Smile.dk, X-Treme), It'd be nice if they could add some E-rotic though.

Also, a mix of Old/New bemani crossovers would be nice. It seemed SN had a lot of songs from recent bemani games and not enough older songs. Also of course, more original songs! Of course, all the bemani artists must be stretched with all the mainstream bemani games having a new release about once a year, and then having to make songs for CS releases. DDR can rely heavily on licenses and crossovers to fill up it's songlist, but it'd stil be nice to have some more originals.

Yes and No to this. Yes, because the charts really do need to get better, No because I can already C-A most of the bosses in SN1.

Come on Konami, I can pass these! Give me something I CAN'T do! Laughing Out Loud

Ech, maybe. I've had enough Xepher, and I have a feeling this would turn into the Xepher of SN2. From any of the difficult IIDX songs, I'd actually prefer (and more importantly ENJOY) One More Lovely.

I would die for songs like: Raspberry ♡ Heart (English version), jewelry girl*, Why did you go away?, SigSig, SPARK!, Let's go out!, LOVE②くらっち, 今日と明日と四角イ空, ⑥Rainbow, 月光, Can I Fall In Love With "U", BLOCKS, Back Into the Light and CaptivAte ~Chikai~

I love to see Blocks, but i don't think it's going to happen.Sad I'll be shock if SigSig is not in this time.

"ASDFGFGBNFGV..."
My DDR SN2 Predictions:

It will include more BeForU tracks. Like Yamato Nadeshiko or Red Rocket Rising.

More IIDX tracks: I want to see Inazuma (dj TAKA)

More tracks from Ultramix series. At least, I want to see all the songs that were included in DDR STR!KE.

SN2 needs more Ultramix and less supernova, srsly.

Insaner [L.E.D Punisher remix] is the best 10ft'er even (that isnt a max).

Im not hoping for much tho, its just gonna get more stupid and retarded than SN1.

I'd say Trim...
Im sick of peoples problems with SN
Waaa waaaa the characters i dont like them
Waaa waaaa the 10's are too hard for my standards
Waaa waaaa the syncing is crap

1st things with the 10s
max 300 was the 1st
then maxx unliited was harder
then period was harder
then FAXX was harder
if they dont get harder whats going to happen when people can pass all 10's
i think they'll get bored >.>

Characters...
if your going to see all them lovely videos which include bright colours & seizure patterns etc
then whats the point of moaning over characters

no. C
ffs there is nothing wrong with the syncing
Trust me i get VERY Paranoid with syncing...
if something isnt in sync on stepmania i'll delete it straight away
if theres something offsync in DDR (which i dont have this problem with playing supernova only other DDR's)
i go into options & change the offset just so that i can play that song...

NOW STOP MOANING ABOUT SUPERNOVA!!!

*love you all*

if you change the offset for ONE song, you put all other songs off sync.

xepher is fucking late, you cant argue that. its horrible. i'm also 100% sure that centaur drifts a lot, and about 70% of the others are slightly late.

very few people are saying that the charts are too hard. most everyone is saying they are fucking dumb. hard songs can be fun, look at hardcore of the north. very fun song. FAXX is no where near that hard, and its freaking stupid.

I found most of the SN 10's to be offbeat (Especially HDV). However, I think SuperNOVA had a lot of fun songs like: Drivin', Xepher, Innocense of Silence, and Flowers. Hopefully SN 2 will have more charts like Moonster, SIlver Platform, Trim, etc.

Quoting a freind of mine from another forum that made an excellent point about SuperNova...

Quote: NesS
I'm going to be fucking straight up right here.

Okay Konami is finally doing something right with adding more IIDX stuff into the DDR scene which is good. I'll like having that little lamp give me a seizure every time I fucking own a song (if I ever do due to my shitty stamina) and I'll like seeing that I've passed a song. I also agree on the "fuck yes Raspberry Heart" on DDR. This is great. I'm starting to like DDR again. There's only one thing I'm still not liking about DDR.

WHERE IS THE FUCKING DIFFICULTY KONAMI?

For those of you who have played strictly DDR and nothing else, shame on you. Not really shame on you, but you should really try the other stuff. But where I'm going with this is that if you played IIDX/Pop'n Music/Everything that isn't DDR, you would know that Konami is really pushing all these games difficulties to the limit. For example, one song in Pop'n music (the newest 43) requires you to get a 700 combo in order to get it to the clear bar. Now, 43 is the highest it gets in Pop'n Music and also this is a 3 minute long song. So if you are not good at Pop'n music and you can pass a 43 that is about 1:30 then good for you, but you really need to have some button killing abilities if you want to get past this one. It's commonly debated that this song should be a 42 because the chart itself is easy. Getting the clear on it, however, is not.

Now DDR is starting to do the same shit with the high BPMs. That's great and all but reading really fast isn't exactly the best way to put a challenge in the game. Since Konami bought out the In The Groove license, I think they should at least add some more challenge like ITG had. I don't mean put a shit load of mines that are piss hard to avoid. I mean more sixteenths, more jumps, more maneuvers, something Konami, just SOMETHING. I have pretty much lost all hope in DDR once ITG got shut down because I went to ITG when I got tired of stomping on arrows that only show up for about 3/4ths of the song instead of having to hold a freeze where there's a nice sixteenth pattern that could be fucking RAPED by awesome players, and you all know it's true, and it would be awesome to see it. I think of it that way. I think Konami is taking DDR and just milking it to get some newbies to jump on the machine and milk all their money from them and once the newbies become pros and they start to get better and clear these stupidly hard songs like PSMO only because it's 290 (another fast BPM thing) 8ths that involve turns and slow downs, they'll notice that a bunch of other awesome songs that have awesome charts could also have these kind of charts. You could take fucking JaneJana and make it a 10. I know you can. I can make JaneJana and make it a 10? How do I make it a 10? Well first I follow the song to more of what the sounds go to and a put some more jumps that could make the player enjoy themselves more rather than just stomp away at certain parts of the song. To me, if I were to compare DDR to IIDX (which is not really fair, but I'm just doing this for difficulty purposes) DDR's heavy is probably equivalent to the Light 7 (Normal) and MAYBE SCRAPING 7K (Hyper) at the hardest.
And to rant some more: Konami should put in more songs from other Bemani games. Setsugekka, Lamento (GOD PLEASE PUT IN LAMENTO), Butterfly Delcation Remix, all these other fucking godly songs should be in DDR to get more IIDX players and Pop'n players into the game instead of having to go back, and I think it's all because of the difficulty in the game. There is none.

Now on with the addition of songs from Bemani. Thank you for all your IIDX add-ons in SuperNOVA. I really appreciate it. There's only one small problem, Konami. Why the FUCK do you decide it's cool to cut the shit out of an awesome song and make it the most horrible sounding things to ever enter my ears? I want to play Rainbow Rainbow and ENJOY playing the shit with my feet. Not play fucking 1 minute of the damn song and have it not even be a challenge. No Konami, stop it. Stop fucking stealing my money. I pay a fucking DOLLAR to play THREE FUCKING ROUNDS OF DDR. You know why? Because Louisiana doesn't have a fucking IIDX machine. No, we have beatmania the final and that shit is broken. So what am I going to do for the arcade experience? Huh? What's that you say? IIDX songs in my DDR?! This is going to be sweet!

*Finish playing AA*

..What the fuck happened to the piano solo?

*Finish playing Murmur Twins*

..Konami didn't even put the song back in sync. What the fuck? Okay, maybe this one will be good. I sure hope so.

*Finish playing Dragonfly*

..Alright, now I'm offended. Thanks for taking an amazing Des-ROW song and chopping it up to pieces and putting little random notes all over the place. Seriously, Konami. Get a grip. Get with the program. People are getting better at IIDX, people are getting better at Pop'n, people are doing insane shit on Drummania and GuitarFreaks and you continuously give them your support by increasing the difficulty to keep them working at something. What do the DDR fans get? We get more 7 footers and 8 footers with the shittest cuts that make me want to just sit and listen to Let Them Move for 24 hours straight with no food or water.

Basically what I'm saying is that you, Dance Dance Revolution, need to get even with your cousins. Please. This game is so fun when you first start out and you just can't wait to rip open the heavies and own them so hard, but after you do that, what's left? We love you, Konami. Is it so much to ask for the song in a reasonable amount of time and some difficulty in it?

I guess so.

Under the Sky [EXP] Doubles? I thought there was an entire stream that's off sync. Maybe I'm just not paying attention, or is it really there?
You guys play doubles? SuperNOVA has tons of extremely fun doubles charts. Flowers [EXP] on doubles is the most fun I've had in years (not counting IIDX).

No all of you! This game really needs lots of Dancemania and IIDX songs and 25 new originals Tongue Then I would be happy, everything about SuperNOVA rocked, soo yeah SuperNOVA2 woot!! as long as it has good bemani crossovers and dancemania covers.

And other bemani songs. One of the better things I think SuperNOVA did was bring a lot of songs from Pop'n, GF/DM, and even PPP.
