Edit:
This is the best I can come up with starting around :50 going til 1:02.
"Valkyrie Dimension"
"This is Damnation"
"I wasn't sure, but this is where I am"
"Perhaps, this is Damnation"
"This is where I am"
Edit: You've got it amazingly close. filling in the blanks, this is what I heard Sounds more like a help message, kind of urgent like.
Yeah, I started really listening to it after a while and your right, the third line is wrong, that was just what I heard at the time.
On another note, with the lines that we do have, doesn't the tone sound kind of like a distress call or something?

According to guy I was talking to at Konami (who acknowledges imported machines in America), due to the construction of the machines and possible different logistical issues with upgrading non-Japanese machines as well as a different system requirements and software issues on US cabs, foreign X1 machines can't be upgraded to X2.
That I knew already (Hawaii had imports since DDR 1.5). I was wondering if the Asian cabinets could be upgraded to the Asian X2. And I wouldn't have to worry about the whole e-amuse system and unlocks. We in Hawaii pretty much care if we can just get it, play it, and can unlock songs on it. Not really caring about the e-amuse extras.

Have you actually played on an X2 dedicab (and I'm not talking about X1 dedicabs which suck balls)?
That I have not. But I'm hearing random stories via this and other message boards. So I'm conflicted with the information.

I just wanted to say that Schaumburg Gameworks was a cool place. Kon and June Kim are cool people. We had alot of fun there and we will be returning. The DDR X2 machine works great. Now if I could just get my local arcade to get one, I'd be all set.

Kon: So how does lock-out work? It just stops you from swiping after that? When I was there it took maybe 6 seconds to swipe once.

So this is really in Schaumburg, Illinois... that's not too far away. I don't like driving, but maybe I could motivate myself to go to this, since I think it could be fun. But probably not soon given other trips in the near future.

Time card lock-out on the DDR X2 machine is 10 seconds. Most machine are usually a minute to a minute and a half so it was not programmed for it probably. If you don't have a time card (because it can't be purchased) you are free to swipe as many times as you want as fast as you want assuming you have the credits to play the game (DDR X2 is 7.2 credits I believe).
Oh and on a side note I read under the X2 unlocks on ZIV that some songs are an "edit data" unlock... So how do I go unlocking them through the edit data?

As far as I know, include an edit from the online step editor http://ddredit.konamionline.com/ddrse/ on your USB drive and in love wit you and real high speed should be available for your play.

You make an edit for _any_ song, then those 2 songs will be unlocked during your round.
