I still haven't gotten my PFC on Happy Wedding.

I am so out of practice it's not funny anymore. But I did get some new records:

An improvement of 50k on Mikeneko Rock



A bad miss to mar a deep SDG on Don't Stop



A new AA: Gamelan de Couple

Also I can totally PFC this song, but I think I'd need to be in a decent mindset to actually do that first...

New Records from last night and today



1st time getting into 990k range on Unbelievable (SPARKY REMIX). I held a yellow combo until the final 175 BPM section during the Freeze Arrow + 4th taps

Valkyrie dimension Expert

FIRE FIRE - I played with a camera in my hands, attempting to record my attempt. This was my first Great Full Combo for this chart (I almost always get at least 1 pad Good on this chart)

Pierce the Sky: Closest to a PFC I've gotten to date.

Shiny World: Finally PFC'd this after like 4 years on this game.

All done soft mat, no bar (as usual).

God, I wish I could play DDR without the bar, but I'm just too big.

Haven't made a score post in forever. It isn't due to a lack of scores, more due to a lack of time I feel. Instead of posting every single major score improvement I've made, in this post I just want to share my most recent MFCs.

First up were my MFCs in Japan back in February. You will notice all of these are either 150 or 180 BPM. This was back when Magic BPMs existed. I was well aware of it so I purposely sought out to get these songs while there.

The best out of those is probably Dynamite Rave Expert. I also got 1 perfect on Leading Cyber which could have been epic.

Now, with the release of DDR A, I was worried if MFCs were still going to be a thing especially since they removed all the magic BPMs. However, after playing a while, I got the timing down and now seriously believe almost anything could be MFCed if you try hard enough. It never feels like you are getting random perfects anymore. If you are stepping on time, you will stream Marvelous.

Anyways, with only a few days playing DDR A under my belt, here is what I've got so far.

Hey, got some new console stuff (DDR II)

I lowered my Perfect count on this song to a level at which I'm pretty satisfied.


Not a new PFC (Theory of Eternity) and it's not my best MA but it's a PFC and I usually get at least one pad good playing this.


New Decade Single Expert AA 950k No bar! I was pretty happy with this score. I have a partial video of me playing this but my phone stopped recording because of low space so it stops a bit after the 100 BPM section. Maybe I'll upload it somewhere.

I don't really record a whole lot of scores anymore, and I post even less, but here are three of most recent scores that I'm most proud of.


I'm just proud of this one because I remember the days when I could barely pass this thing with a C.


I'm proud of this one because I didn't realize how good I was getting until I sat there and thought "I just did 16th note streams at 175BPM...!!!"


I'm proudest of this one because I [Extra Stage] failed it the first time after the break in the middle (I got really tired lol), and didn't even expect to pass it the second time (pictured) and I FC'd it, with the other half of the chart basically being sight-read.

I haven't really been noticing my progression until about three days ago when my friend (who was way better than me) pointed it out to me, and it kinda amazes me because I never would have thought that I would be getting this much better, PASSING 17s (and FCing them, even less). I've been going to my local arcade at least once a week since about October 2015, and I'm finally noticing that all this practice is actually paying off, both in accuracy & stamina. :')

I haven't posted in a while.

Since last time I'm now at 142 MFCs and I got Night of Nights (15) for #100.

However, I'm posting now to share my latest accomplishment. It's taken a long time and I've been close many times, but I finally PFCed my first level 18 song.

I got a bunch of new scores today. Since there were so many, I decided to compile them into a slideshow/video of sorts.
On MAX LOVE I actually stumbled off the stage for a couple seconds, so that's why there's 8 misses.
I was very pleased with the pad quality today. Sometimes, the panels stick and that's not fun to play on.


I was able to get videos of the last 2 songs I played.

Hi, everyone! Bemani Dog here. I created a new account that will represent my efforts in DDR A.

I spent the entire afternoon in rotation giving the new white cabinet at Dave & Buster's Orlando a full shakedown. Unfortunately, the first half of my scores are missing stats because I forgot about the score screen menu system, which is important in two-player mode. I also lost my e-AMUSEMENT card somewhere in the arcade before the machine was turned on. So I'm waiting for them to arrive (techs said some time in the next few days).

I remembered it when I got this, which was in 1P mode so it didn't have the aforementioned problem. PFC #28, and my first on DDR A: South Expert.



Got a good score on The Reason Expert



Gave Hands Up In The Air a try to push myself. Don't think I did too bad.



The rest of my "official" scores from here on are on the right side. Got Help Me Erin Heavy



This was a stinker on Sweet Rain Heavy. I know I can do better. Probably when I finally get an e-AMUSEMENT card and can get Note arrows.



This was actually my second try at Beautiful Dream Heavy. The first one didn't have stats, I'll show it later.



A surprisingly impressive effort on Bad Apple Heavy.



Had some stumbles on She Is My Wife. I'm blaming not having Note arrows, and moving on.



I'm okay with this effort on SigSig Heavy.



Now, from here. I have my stuff without stats, which obviously cannot go on the Score Tracker.

First, the first effort on Beautiful Dream Heavy, on the left. Really unhappy that the true AA will be lost for now.

This one really bugs me. My first of the new American licenses, Shut Up and Dance Heavy, on the left. And I was a great short of a FC AAA.



This round was being played with GENICKS. This is only my railgun Heavy. I wanted to replicate the earlier PFC. I ended up black-flagging it. But as I said before, can't post it yet.



An impressive showing on Sayonara Trip Heavy, on the left.



My partner for the next few, I'm on the left, hadn't played in a while and was getting back into it. I'm the one that did V Heavy. He did Challenge.



Also got ever snow, on the left.



Then I pushed myself with Ubertreffen Heavy, on the left. I'm okay with the effort.



Nagisa No Koakuma Lovely Radio Challenge (left). I'm certain I'll be able to PFC this one, though Expert will take quite some time.



FC AAA on Yamato nade nade kaguya hime Heavy.



Last but not least. I couldn't wait to get at this one in the arcade. True AA on Over the "Period" Light.



I'm going back early tomorrow with plans to try to replicate as many of my previous PFC's as I can. Hopefully I can get an e-AMUSEMENT card by then so I can get my Note arrows back.

Just one addition from the next day.

I ran three sessions. One in the noontime, one late afternoon, and a single game played late when they started selling e-AMUSEMENT cards. This one's from the second session.



The single great happened within the last 10 steps.

I literally screamed the F word when I was done.

(7/9/16) It's got me again! And this time, it came totally out of left field.

I got my first Level 3 Extra Stage today, and chose Kono Aozora no Shita de. Sometimes I surprise even myself.

407 steps, and only 33 perfects. PFC #29!

So I may not be able to go to my nearest D&B anytime soon to play DDR A (The one that IS closest to me didn't get it. Next closest is Virginia Beach, but... that's 2 hours away) but well... we have home games for a reason~

And now... well... I've finally managed to get one of these:

PFC #1. Finally accomplished this milestone. Hopefully I can start PFC'ing more songs~ (And yes, this was on a pad. I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't)
