e-amusement system, is an online system where players can keep their achievements on.
Every player that wishes to use e-amusement will require to purchase an e-amuse card so you can put it into the machines so your scores can be saved.
e-amusement is also used for INTERNET RANKING and also, you can personalise some games to an extent by configuring your e-amuse account on the Internet, like different skins while playing beatmaniaIIDX. e-amuse is also responsible for ee'mall songs you purchase for play on pop'n music.

Nope, currently only Japan and certain Asian countries support it.
We will see when SuperNOVA2 gets released here and in North America.

Pump It Up is also using USB ports, which is pretty cool.
