Maple Story

Okay, okay, so I have a laptop now and almost absolutely nothing to do. My current college class is ending on Tuesday and I have a long three months until my next semester starts.

So~~~~~

I was thinking of playing Maple Story. I've played it a few times before and I've found that it actually is pretty fun. But it's no fun playing by myself . Anyone interested in starting a little ZIV group on Maple Story? I thought it would be kinda fun anyways....

I heard Maple Story was pretty fun, but I'm little backed up on games at the moment. I've got somewhere between 5-10 XBox 360 games that I've bought and haven't even started yet.

Maybe somewhere down the line, I'll start on this.

I used to play this obsessively. I played when it was in Beta and restarted when it was fully released and spent way too much time trying to maintain a position as one of the highest level Mages in the game. I wound up rage quitting over the excessively broken economy at the time which had me shelling out 55 million for a Thorns staff (since very few were in existence) and then a few months later it'd depreciated to around 20 million. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I never did find my Evil Wings and I killed thousands upon thousands and possibly tens of thousands of Werewolves for the damned thing (when they still dropped it).

Fun with friends though.

Hmmm... I dunno... I've spent a lot of time avoiding the "social black hole" that is the MMORPG for a damn good reason. And the way it sounds from AW's post, it's like, "that kind of broken." And I'm really low on disk space, and really am putting off either upgrading my HD or dumping something like my music/SM libraries... ~.~

But it IS tempting just to dabble a bit...


EDIT: I'd NEVER finish The Zmix Project if I did *that.* Or Rockman Supreme (another gaming project). Or any of a dozen other things I'm dabbling with atm.

I finished downloading it, so I will set up a character and stuff and then try to find a good server and whatnot to play.
