I have two DDR Universe 3 Pads. I got the first one to work but the second one doesn't. On the second pad I set the buttons in XBCD+ same as the 1st but it just doesn't save. How can I fix this problem?

Thanks In Advance

"I'm honestly pissed off."
Could you be more specific about the situation you're trying to use the pad in?

Are you hooking it up to an xbox360 and trying to play one of the DDR games on that?

Are you hooking it up to a computer and trying to use it to play stepmania?

Or something else?

Judging by all his posts being in the DDR section when they should be in the SM section, he wants to get his 360 pads to work in SM.

Yes, I'm plugging both Dance Pads to my PC and playing Stepmania. So far I got my first controller to work. The second one doesn't save the buttons I set it to in XBCD+.

Try assigning the second pad to different buttons, so that it doesn't conflict with the first pad.

Techy-answer for that:

Enumerate all DI devices, determine if they are gamepads by looking at the dwDevType member of the DIDEVICEINSTANCE structure you have from the enumeration callback parameter.
Then, create the devices as needed, using the GUIDs also available from that structure.
It is good practice to make a list of the enumeration results, so that the player/s can choose which devices to use - same as with display, sound and network devices.

IE: Visit "Gamepads and Controllers" in Control Panel, once they're both plugged in - you hear the "dink" - and before you run SM, and make sure they're differenciated. (Gamepad 1/Gamepad 2, etc.)

Finally Fixed It.
I had to reinstall the driver for Gamepad2. Edit the inf. file, the first pad apparently was different from the second. then open the xbcd+ setup utility as administrator. Once that was done the buttons didn't reset.

Thanks For the Help.
