That surely goes to show that fitness is key to a long life. I've never even thought of life savings running out when you're old.

As for fitness and long life, fitness just makes life seem longer. ;)
If you live long enough, your life savings will run out if you don't continue to bring in income. I intend to keep working as long as I'm alive. If I can't do something useful, then there just isn't a reason for me to be alive.
