Well, no new Sun and Moon news from this Nintendo Direct, but we did get some recognition of the upcoming Pokken Tournament, which is really looking to be quite the fighting game. Here's to hoping it's balanced...

okay I've started to play Pokemon Yellow on 3DS. And I'm thinking of trying to EV train. Now I have seen this...http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_effort_value_yield_(Generation_III-IV) ...and wondering if this is the best list to use. If it isn't does anyone know where I can find a more accurate list?

also I need some suggestions. My Pikachu (named Sparks III) has the following stats

Attack 11
Defense 9
Speed 17
Special 11

So seeing that its defense is weakest stat I should EV train that stat. Or does anyone think I should EV train one of the other stats?

I wish we would see more characters. 16 just seems small nowadays for Fighting Game standards when Super Smash Bros. has more than 50 and Ultra Street Fighter 4 has over 40. Besides, look at the character menu:



It CLEARLY has more room for characters. Pokemon is definitely hiding something from us. DLC, possibly, but that's stupid. If you're charging me $60 for 16 characters and then even more to get the number I should've had in the first place, you must be out of your mind. *looks at SFV*

I've tried using Pokemon Showdown but had major trouble adjusting the EV/IV stats for my team. But I'll give it another chance and look into it.

maybe I'm asking the wrong thing here. I need a list of the Pokemon from 1st gen that drops/gives the EV points when defeated.

Alright, here's my Pokken prediction- I do think there's 4 more characters.
I've had really good luck in the past calling this stuff (I actually called Braixen a while back), so let's see how this goes.
Heracross, Greninja, Diancie, and (a long shot here) Zekrom. May the force be with them...

That's exactly what I thought would happen. Well too bad, because Blaziken has that tuft of fur between his legs in every game he's ever been in.

What, do they want a rating change? A balance patch? Pixelation? What's the big deal?

If I was a parent I would/should have some idea what my kids have gotten into. hell if I had kids I'd get them interested Pokemon and then I got nothing to worry about.

So I honestly think that the parent should have invested in a bit of time knowing what these Pokemon look like.

I'm a little disappointed that it's not ACTUALLY Blaziken's dick, not gonna lie.

I forgot about Reshiram.

Sceptile was my first starter, though not one of my top 10 favorite Pokemon. I always liked Blaziken more, and somehow acquired a level 28 Combusken very early in that same childhood run.

Same with Pokken- joined with Sceptile, left with Blaziken. And Braixen, because for some reason I'm really good at Braixen.
