Huh. Well, that was to be expected. Why must leakers leak? Now, what will become of those fancy new Zygarde forms if Pokemon Z is just an anime? And is Magearna number 722 or something else? Guess the next month will tell.

What sucks is that we don't have real footage, just some concept art of what looks like a Seedot clone and that blue thing that looks like Torchic with wings. The names of the games are cool though, I hope this means we're getting a Fire/Fairy for Sun and a Steel/Poison for Moon.

It can't be bred onto a Machamp with No Guard, and all Machamps default to Guts.

And on a very random note, I just received a Hoopa through Wonder Trade. I definitely did not expect to get Hoopa this way.

Honestly, defaulting to a specific ability makes a lot of sense. It'll probably just be a "ability defaults to whatever the Pokemon's first ability is" thing and Guts happens to be Machop's first ability. I doubt someone's going to sit down and pre-determine every single ability each Pokemon is going to have when it transfers into Gen 7.

I personally can't see them getting rid of Ability Capsule so looks like there's gonna be a lot Machamps throwing around 1-hit KO's. On the bright side they'll probably have something similar to Gen 6's blue pentagon so you at least wouldn't have to worry about Fissure spam in any "current gen only" formats.

Anyways, I usually never decide on a version this early but I really want Moon! Might end up getting both versions though, who knows?

Dang got beaten to the punch on announcing the upcoming Sun and Moon versions. Well the hype train is hyped.

Now something has been bugging me in OR and I want to talk about it before I go off on a tangent.

Here is the situation I'm having... I was traversing route 114 and was going around looking for bases doing CTFs and as we all know that with Rock Smash one of 3 things can happen 1) nothing, 2) random item or 3) wild Geodude appears. Okay now in the Dex Nav I have a Gold Crown for route 114, so I'm still missing a Pokemon or 2 for that route. Now here's the kicker I use Rock Smash to get to a base that is surrounded by breakable rocks and a wild Geodude appears, so since I have caught a Geodude I decided to run from battle and I looked at the Dex Nav and noticed that Geodude didn't register on the Dex Nav. So is what I experience was a glitch or was the game programmed to not add Geodude to the Dex Nav since it was a Rock Smash encounter instead of a normal encounter?

I honestly feel that this is a glitch, but I would like everyone's opinion on this matter.

I don't have Omega Ruby, but the same thing happens in Alpha Sapphire and I don't believe it's meant to be a glitch. It seems like Pokémon that are found through Rock Smash just aren't recorded in the DexNav. For example, I was on a Mirage Spot awhile back that I already had a Platinum Crown on, and one of the boulders I used Rock Smash on unleashed a Crustle, which isn't able to be found in the grass and didn't have an available silhouette. Naturally, I caught it and it still didn't show up on the DexNav. So it seems like it's an intentional thing.

Most likely, the one or two that need to be found can only be found as "Hidden Pokémon". Various Pokémon can only be found this way.

@bmhedgehog Did you get Misdreavus yet? There's that and one more that I'm not sure of.

mostly through events, but you might get lucky in a wonder trade or trading in general.

I'm not sure if they are still redeemable after the 24th of Feb, chewi. I think Celebi event is running now.

Oh dear, I thought as long as you got the code you could redeem it whenever. I never thought about it, though. I redeemed got the gift code, but never finished soft resetting for a good nature. I think that's okay as long as I don't get a wad of awaiting gifts?

But yeah, Celebi is definitely going on now. Hooray.

The code for Mew can still be redeemed until May 31st, 2016.

I just redeemed my own Mew codes. Too lazy to do it then.


Also, lololololol stupid Brock and his Onix with Bide. I leer'd him and growl'd him to -6 on each stat before leech seeding and attacking.
