I'm new here and i've never posted in a thread in my life, so if i did something wrong.......sorry. I need help with sm4.0., and if anybody knows anything about Mdawg's ITG that would be great. I notice a couple of songs i have have what they call negative bpms, and i don't really even know what that is. Now these songs work fine in my sm3.9, but they get all screwy if i play them in my sm4.0 or itg2. Is there a way to make them work?? Also, i really wanna add the speeds 3.5 and 4.5 to both games, but i don't know how to.
And lastly i have a few songs from mungyodance packs and they all work fine in sm3.9, but when i try them in 4.0 or itg2 they make the game crash. All i know is that they are marathon (3 round) songs. I just need some general help and understanding. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Also if you could contact me it would be great. My screen name is haloxgp88 Thank you in advance to anybody that can assist me. And i apologize if i put this in the wrong forum, never used forums before.

Error logs would help
SM4 is still in beta IIRC, so there are probably some bugs with negative BPM's still

IIRC neither SM4 nor Mdawg's ITG support negative BPMs

Nope, sorry.
I'm having a little trouble with some other parts of stepmania myself, but it's mostly because I've been tampering with the metrics

um negative BPMs work on ITG1 and ITG2... (at least our ITG1 has no problems with Tsuxu [whatever] songs and ITG2 r21/23 has no problems with it as well) AFAIK
(I was forced to play songs with negative BPM on both arcade machines so that's why I assume it works....
as I remember it was evil....notes appearing from nowhere and mines on a place where an arrow was before...)
otherwise well it (neg BPMs) was a bug in earlier Stepmanias thus in SM4 you won't get it working. well, sm4 is still in development so it can crash for whatever reasons from time to time.
