So, What Bemani-Related Blog Should I Translate Now?

Now that the DDR FROM STAFF blog has slowed down from its "1-2 posts a day" phase to a "several posts a week" phase, I feel I can open myself to translating another BEMANI related blog. So, which should it be?

Bemani Music Foundation is a good place to start. Several BEMANI artists post blogs and some even have websites(check out the left side of the bar). Do note that some people (like Sota Fujimori) do not really keep regular blogs, so make sure you check the blogs and see that they post on an at least semi-frequent basis.

There's also some game-related blogs out there too. Jubeat has a staff blog as does IIDX Empress

So, let me know which one you would like to see translated on a regular basis!

Actually, I'm a little disappointed that nothing was licensed by SHANADOO for any of the games. Heaven knows a bunch of the other commission artists got licensed. Bill Hamel had Ghetto Blasta Deluxe, Tommie Sunshine had the Wine Red remix, SMiLE.dk had Koko Soko, Ozomatli (who did the Slip Out remix?) had Here We Go etc. Would have loved to see some Shanadoo there, especially their E-Rotic covers. It would have been a nice throwback to the old DDR songs without having parents screaming about their kids playing "Oh Nick Please Not So Quick"



By the way UG, did you ever find out what the song in that SHANADOO clothing line commercial was?

I'm disappointed, but not surprised... why on Earth would they want to license something that's actually any good?

I kid~ I kid~

But really, the world isn't ready to sustain the massive flooding my natural juices would have caused if there was a SHANADOO license on top of them doing NO CRIME.

And no, I never ever found out what that song was! Perhaps that's Next Life?

None of the BEMANI MUSIC FOUNDATION artists really update more than once a month, at most.
Zektbach's letters are updated somewhat frequently though; suppose that would be interesting?
Might be a bit much though, they're rather verbose...

Barring that, I wouldn't mind hearing from Sota's blog.
