Because it's the month of December I changed my avatar to Mittens Fluff 'n' Stuff, my other favorite Lalaloopsy. I like her hair color and she's into snowy things and cold weather, making her a good choice for this month. I'll go back to Spot Splatter Splash next month.

I tend to have a lot of weird dreams at night, and I just had another one. So, I was watching late night programming on some small, local over-the-air TV network. The show I was watching was a game show hosted by Penn from Penn & Teller called "I Know This Guy." It was animated using MS Paint-style drawings, which is weird and unconventional for a game show. The show had just gotten back from commercial and Penn was about to ask the final question. He said that if the contestant, named Will, got the question right, a dog named Pepper got to moon the audience. But if Will got it wrong, he had to moon the audience. The question was to name every member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and Will correctly rattled them off from memory. And then, the show that followed was called "Paladin," and it was so bizarre, I had no idea what was going on. It was some weird fusion of sci-fi, sitcoms, game shows and soccer games. It starred William Shatner and Derek and Julianne Hough. The premise of the show had something to do with giant robots playing soccer. But as I said, it was so bizarre, I had no idea what was going on. The dream ended after "Paladin" cut to its first commercial break.

So this came up on the contest discord and the prevailing theory is he had a psychotic break (or at least, a visible one) after some sort of relationship conflict with Megumi, possibly caused by him cheating on her with the owner of a nightclub. He also claims to starve himself every time Megumi is mad at him. It's TBD whether or not they're still married.

Basically, I hope to god this man has someone in his life checking up on him.

I just had another bizarre dream. The gist of it was that Sir Tom Jones stole my mother's identity so that he could improve his player status in Raid: Shadow Legends, but every purchase he made in the game using my mom's money happened to her in real life.

This is probably a very stupid idea, but I am starting a side project called Stepmania IIDX. The project will be keyboard DP charts made to look like IIDX charts, with the P1 left arrow acting as the turntable and the other notes acting as the 7 keys. Here is an example of what that looks like:



Charts will be rated on the 1-12 IIDX scale. And the IIDX-style notecount for the above chart would be 2222.

I don't know too much about what makes a IIDX 12 "good" but I will say that the constant jacks on 1P D look very uncomfy, especially at that tempo. I'm fairly certain IIDX takes keysound liberties for sections like these.

Just to make you guys laugh a bit. Considering that DDR A3 announced that the 20th Anniversary licenses will be removed, I decided to try to get some personal scores in the arcades and save them in eamusement app while doing some mall hopping. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions, it just so happens that (not one but) two DDR A3 machines are out of order. Sure it was frustrating but the fact that it happened twice is mindblowing. (Took it as a ridiculous sign that I'm better off with Stepmania, since I've been recoloring the characters in Enciso's project.)

If I had a nickel for encountering a broken DDR A3 machine at an arcade, I'd have two nickels, which isn't much but it's weird that it happened twice.
