I'm glad I uploaded the nonstop doubles charts because I had to do a system restore and lost all of my files that were not on my desktop.

My desktop ended up shitting the bed in the middle of a Windows Update recently so I can kind of relate. Ended up getting an Asus laptop that was on clearance at my work to hold me over until I can save up enough to get a new desktop.

A whole bunch of cops just showed up at my house because apparently there's a search warrant. I don't have anything to hide but holy shit i am so fucking stressed out and confused

EDIT: I really wasn't given much of answer, but i guess there was an allegation that my dad (a psychiatrist) overprescribes medication. It's a bullshit allegation, and it doesn't really any answer much but... at least it's something? I don't know why they had to search my entire fucking house but luckily none of my stuff was really touched. Then again, i didn't have anything to hide

In all fairness, prescribing too much of a drug (especially opioids) is something pretty serious. If it turns out that your dad ended up causing harm (or in worse cases, death) to a patient due to overprescription, that can lead to some crazy charges. I know that authorities all over the country have been cracking down on the opioid epidemic as of late, so it doesn't surprise me. However, if it's just one small allegation that doesn't really mean anything, then yeah, that's pretty bullshit.

Yeah, this literally came out of fucking nowhere so i'm sure it's bullshit. He would never overprescribe anything.

Holy shit! I'm glad you and yours are safe. That's never a pleasant situation and I'd honestly see about taking whoever made that allegation to court.
